well.. hillclimbs are approx 1km - 1.5km in length and average 34-53 depending on car. only ones ive done is Highclere near burnie, domain in hobart, collinsvale in hobart and the basky one.

can find apps and schedules at www.nwcctas.net or www.cmitas.org.

browse youtube for vids on all  will link some vids tonight when i get home.

what one do you like best funz?

ive done legerwood lane and barigton ones as driver and passenger but i dont think i would go back to either for the expence of the travel and the value of driving time. but in saying that im hella keen to get my car to one

unfortunately they dont run the barington one any more due to a massively deteriorating road surface. its also got no grip at the best of times and at least one car gets totaled at every event

Minna Road was good too, its a quick one with good road surface and some exciting drops to steer away from!

Collinsvale is pretty fast... I pucked fourth in my old GTR there!

Domain is awesome if you have an Evo!

Dystart (and old one) used to be much like a flatter version of Minna Road.

Eagle Hawk Neck was the best and longest, maybe it will run again one day.

Update on my cars...

Evo III is all back together and heaps of fun to drive, although its still not yet been used in anger. Its for sale and is pretty much a fresh thing with plenty of cash throw at it in the near two years I've owned it. My dollar per kilomtre ownership ratio on this car is even worst than the GTR or the RX7... maybe the two combined! For anyone interested check it out - http://www.my105.com/12415

RX-7 hits the tilt-tray to go get the engine back in it today, fingers crossed I can get it ready to use at a circuit event next year. Pretty sure I have all the requireded parts now.

Already searching for the next toy in Japan, expect something very different from the previous!

got 2 domain vids there, in process of uploading collinsvale, highclere and a few others. if you check my profile have a look at marinetowing, jam0076 in the gtr and snobes 350z. :-)

well.. front bar suffered a severe downsizing today at basky..not even jack could repair this lol

Oh well... At least you were out there having a crack.

Unlike that guy that turned up in his white GTR and then produced every excuse under the sun for not having a run... lol

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
