I am sick of 33's. They are everywhere. It's for the person who knows nothing about cars and wants an import (flame suit activated). Get a 32.

EDIT: Just like the Lancer coupe driver is for someone who wants a "sports car" and knows nothing about cars.

HAHA your dumb :P Stupidest sh*t I have heard all day.

it was indeed a stupid comment...stemming from jealousy perhaps.

i think most people that get 32's do it to be different, thereby being the same as every other person that does the same as they just did, therefore being no different at all.

lol

keep telling everyone to go get a 32 so that they can be different, and soon enough you'll be no different from any other 32 owner anyway....

oh, and there's a reason that there are so many 33's out there :) 34's are too expensive a lot of the time...and 32's....well....nuff said. lol

R32s are as common as they come, there heaps of shit looking R32’s on the road. Having a nice clean R32 seems to be a privilege. But then the same can be said for R33’s, rarely do I see a nice clean example, 90% of them look like crap. Anyway, comparing an R32 to an R33 is comparing apples to oranges. R32’s are that cheap now who cares, might as well get a 32 GTR.

But yeah it’s a crack up when idiots say R33 are to common get an R32, now I wonder why more people purchase R33’s over R32’s? Ohh I know R32s look better, go better and are generally better in everyway, that’s why the majority get 33’s LOL you dip shit!

Listen no need for getting cut.. its just a fourm.. this is were people post there ideas.. so stop gettin cut over it.. waste of time..

dont be hatein cauz u brought a 33 then found out that 32's are better..

i see so many ugly girls drivin 33's havent seen a uglyone in a 32 yet.. when it comes down to it, its all about the chicks. dont u agree??

LOL..

Im just f**kin round.. this is all the person who brought this shit up's fult..

This argument is old, and will never stop..

choose ur own car..

Anyone that says its about the chicks obviously has no idea, so no I don’t agree. You say you don’t like 33’s because wogs drive them, you sound like a stupid wog :) Speak shit on the forums and I will tell you what I think, speak shit to my face and I will do the same. This argument is old and its as stupid as ever, I would never get an R32, I can’t go backwards. This has nothing to do with my car, I bought it over 3 years ago, for the price I paid I could get a nice little herd of R32s and have a demolishion derby!

That's a bit of faulty logic.

Just because the majority own R33 GTSTs doesn't necessarily mean that they all find them better looking than the R32, i've previously owned an R32 GTST, and R33 GTST. Only reason I upgraded to the R33 GTST, was coz of the RB25 engine, better interior, more space. I must admit though, i do think R33 GTSTs looks better than R32s (not the GTRs though I just love the aggresive lines and pumped guards on the R32s.:)) But often people by R33s as a compromise for the bigger engine, bigger/better interior.

There have been a few polls on here and the R32 was voted to be the most popular shape, despite R33s being the most common :P

Personally, I think the R33s are sedan like, particularly the GTSTs. And yes, they are very common, but NOT NECESSARILY coz people prefer them. It is because of import regulations, recently, heaps of R32s came in under the 15yo rule, that's why you seen a greater number of them these days. Most Skylines that are imported are R33, through the RAWS scheme, as there are VERY FEW people offering compliance via RAWS for R32s, THIS IS WHY you see so many R33 GTSTs. So you'll find more people generally like the R32 shape.

Each to their own though.

IMO, looks go in this order: R32 GTR>R33 GTR>R33 GTST>R32 GTST

At the end of the day they are all Skylines, I love and have owned, every shape. But the R34 owns all.

Fair enough, I agree that the R34 owns all. But I really dont like the look of the R34 GTT's, they look like cheap toys I recon. I dont know why I think this, I was going to get one but even with a decent kit they just dont look that good. The R34 GTR on the other hand is insane. But like you said at the end of the day all Skyline's are great (all clean skylines that dont have door stickers).

Yeah you're not alone with the R34s.

Without sideskirts they look terrible, coz they look pretty big.

But with a nice kit/rims they looks pretty hot. The front/back lights own it as well.

door stickers

haha.....

true that, shopping lists belong on Hondas.

1 or 2 stickers are ok though, IF the car really has "HKS" etc parts.

I think that r34's have same sort of features of r32. but the 33's are out of no were.. with there fat look, looks more like a famly car..

And MSPEC whats ur problem get angry over anything.. take a joke fark.. Were not suppose to be competing angainst eachother.. we all have skyline's.. so thats good.. y dont u go be angry at some c**ts on the rotary fourms..

OMG IOWNU do u have GTO my fav car.. well done.. respect..lol

Your idea of a joke is very poor, perhaps you should work on your delivery. Read a few posts back, was what you were saying very funny? By the way I am not angry, I just said you were pretty much a wanker. I’m not mad in the slightest, you were just very immature with your comments.

    • I hadn't thought about the variable power steering assist. Presumably, it will always be the same level of assist as you get in an S14. The R32/3/4 are either helliishly heavy (at low speeds) if the solenoid is not powered at all, or hellishly too light (at high speed) if it is powered all the time. I presume that it is PWM controlled on those cars. I hadn't thought about the S cars not having variable assist. ugh. What crappy plebby cars they must be!
    • Hmm yeah that is a good point. It looks like it'll just bolt in with no real issue besides maybe the bushings being different. My other concern was that 2 pin plug that I assume is used in some way to control the rack solenoid depending on the speed signal from the ecu. The DMAX rack doesn't even have that plug though so, don't think it'll matter. Might just order the rack and see how it goes. Will update this when I figure something out
    • I'd say it's a fair bet that the feed and return fluid lines will be in different enough spots that you would need to come up with a way to cut the originals short and adapt with new hard line adaption or braided teflon hoses or somesuch. But really, you have the car, you have the photos of the DMAX rack - you should be able to go out there and see for yourself whether they're in the same or different spots.
    • I've been doing some looking around and honestly was just considering throwing a new rack at it. I saw that the dmax silvia rack bolts up into the 33 with the silvia bushings but not sure if the high pressure lines will sit in the correct spot. I believe other version of the 33 rack are the same/similar to the racks that can be opened up without as much fuss so I assume the dmax rack would fit but any ideas?
    • I've never played with one, but I would expect that you are correct. That slot looks like it is intended to be used to unscrew the end, and the flats on the body would be better than grabbing it around the round bit with a pipe wrench. So, yeah, probably unscrews. You'll probably have to make a tool to drive in that slot.
