OBES
Hmmm, does anyone know if this can be mated up to my GTR?? Can you hook the awd gear up to the 3ltr block?? And would i need to mess around with different engine mounts, etc?? Cheers, Mick. Stoney85
it's been done before, but i couldn't tell you whats required, my guess would be a GTR sump to start with, and the box should bolt straight up to the block Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/93854-rb2630-for-sale/#findComment-1698740 Share on other sites
PVL-747
thats a hard question. i haven't heard of that being done. $10,900. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/93854-rb2630-for-sale/#findComment-1699096 Share on other sites
tir31
it may be possible but not easy im guessing, the 4wd blocks r different as it suports the diff and is a different shape where the sump meets. a mate has used rb20 4wd motors in rwd cars with a custom sump but havnt heard of the other way around. jon, Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/93854-rb2630-for-sale/#findComment-1699206 Share on other sites

Turbo Tits
how much are these plates fitzpatrick? what size sump bolts does the rb30 block use? arent they smaller than GTR and prone to breaking on a hard launch in a gtr? Fitzpatrick Speed Works
The plates are $450, the way my plates work there would have to be a ridiculous amount of force to snap a bolt in fact it would almost be impossible, but there is room to run bigger bolts if you felt it was nessassary!!!
