At this stage no!

Dart and CRD have been the two workshops behind the complete build and tune and the results speak for themselves.

At the end of the day I had the motor build to withstand significantly more power than im actually chasing, to leave me a buffer should I choose to go after more HP at a later stage.

So far for the street the GT-SS's have proved to be a great turbo choice so I really cant complain

Nick,

As you know all the hardware on my car was done by DART & tuned by CRD!

Its great to see these gtr guru's truly shine

Congratulations mate - we shall catch up soon! (after my final tune)

Marko.

blk180,

im keen to see the results myself - fingers crossed it is now run in after covering 4500km...

it is currently tuned at 325awkw, i have been waiting for that extra 'ooomf' for quite some time now!

363awkw on bp ultimate so should be interesting...

Marko.

Marko R1 cant wait to see what those GTRS turbos can really do sould be good

tommy k,

it is booked for next week so it will be ready friday.

do u have a similar setup? If im mistaken i thought that u were running gtss turbos

Marko

Marko

when will it be ready.

Gimme a date please :P

Marko,

Im running the garrett '2530s'. Im also waiting for a retune. Car pulled 315rwkw on a dynolog with coil pack failure. Since then, adding a new fuel pump and coils, the car feels quicker than the 315rwkw run. Adding more timing (4 degrees more) and more fuel the car feels a load MORE quicker even, without any knock issues. So im very keen to see how we go also.

But look very forward to see your results.

400awkw shouldnt be too far away.

I hear Nick just bought a T51R SPL :P LOL

tommy k has 2560s would be nice if we could get Morgs graph and yours from CRD. morgs was running a T04Z

I have that, and the difference in spoolup is quite dramatic. The difference does lie in the top end though, T04z > 2x2560

I have the sheets on my pc at home. Will endeavour to post em up. Bear in mind, Morgs made more power in a different run, so the only real relevance would be the spoolup and torque curves ?

EDIT - I have Morgs' run from Bel on the same sheet as my best run, not the CRD one. But at least this way its a more accurate comparison

:P

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
