Would just like to say that, greg did an excellent job!! no complaints at all n hes pretty fast at it now as well.. I even made it to maccas breakfast lol..

See i had to drive from sutherlandshire to his house, and the car was booked in at 8.30am, so traffic was a b****..

But for anyone who still wants to go n get their tints done, do it now, before it ends..

Just beware of his dog hahahah..

thanks 2 blitz as well..

I was thinking of taking up this Group Buy, then I saw the HORNSBY :P

Could it possibly be any further away? And still be in Sydney ;)

And I need 2 cars done, that's 2 trips to HORNSBY :):O

Will he travel?

:) cheers :)

Yea, i would like my car to get 15% tint as well, and a friend.

but hornsby a bit turns off,

Maybe we can have a lil groupy so he can come to us, instead of we going to him?

My area is Liverpool

I have 10% on my car and I hate it. At night the front windows are just too dark. Sometimes I have to slow down and put the window down in dark streets.

I would recommend people getting 35% on the front windows and 15% on the back. Keeps the jap look. Have you noticed that a lot of imports arrive here with really dark back windows with the front windows clear?

Apparently a nissan factory option in japan is exactly that.

Could you possibly get your windows done elsewhere? :D

bump.

Got mine done on saturday.

35%

Greg is a good fella.

I told him what I wanted out of the tints and even though the 35% cost less, he said that would suit my needs more so than the darker ones.

It's not dark really. So it's not for the posers among us.

I just wanted to stop the heat and therefore making the air con more efficient.

that's just what I got.

I do have to say this though..

it's a 2 man job.

greg tints the windows, you have to entertain the poochie..

LOL..

Helpful hint:

pin the dog down before he starts getting too playful...

or if you are a pansy, he can lock the dog away.

Thanks BLITZ for the group buy and thanks greg for job well done.

Hi all, Greg has advised me that he will be happy to extend this group buy until the end of March as a few people have expressed interest but are short on funds.

I will update the first post.

Nick

I had mine tinted in 28% non-reflective tint in the last SAU group buy from the guy in North Ryde, and its great.

It is very dark at night though. I wouldnt go any darker.

I was going to go 20%, but it wouldve been far too dark at night.

15% at night would be suicidal.

15% is just perfect i reckon.. hmm i can still see out the window, but yea, not ideal in very dark streets..

Hmm will Pm you again blitz..

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
