I bought my R33 GTR from AJM recently,

I think I got a good deal however I did have to threaten to sue them when they wanted to cancel before i picked the car up. ( probably because they had a better offer )

When i picked the car up the $400 per tire yoka's on the back were bald.

Gee I wonder how that happened .........

Also the gearbox had automatic transmission fluid in it to mask some kind of problem but it seems ok now.

Loving the car now tho

sb..

try autoforce imports ive bought all my cars all 9 of them previously from them kevins always looked after me .. i suppose your after a non turbo GTS? he has both atm cehck out the web site give him a call www.autoforce.com.au

man, your dad is a mechanic, dont forget this, you can take him with you, and he can throughly check over the whole car even organise a day for him to take the car to his workshop and check it out. id go private, just get your car checked very good, and maek sure all parts are in good working order. i know why u want a GTS for and that is understandable for your age, a very sensible option i think. but use the number one thing that u have on your side, a family member that has mechanical knowledge. that is your best way to go, all car will have sum sort of problem some time in there life, its just a matter of time, but if you do this it will minimize the risk of anything bad happening to your car in the future from parts failure. so get crack in and find your ass a new ride! :D

Yeah i intend to take my dad with me.. i was just wondering what dealers are down in brisbane.. i would rather get it of privete sale.. as its that tad chreaper but odsnt offer a warrenty.. But in the end oif the day i my warrenty will no doubt be void when i put mods on it.. so maybe i can say keep the warrenty knock a bit of the price..

o WEll buying a trading post thsi weekend.

should warn you guys about publicly slandering a buisness, should really keep all bad encounters to either PM or dont name the buisness in question.

I do realise this, and I realise that by saying what I did is dangerous. But seriously, after what they did to us, I don't give a shit anymore. I am more than happy to give people several chances at being decent people. Hell, anyone that knows me can vouch for that! But they just went too far, and I know they did it to people before us, and are still doing it today :P.

Anyway, this thread isn't about them, it's about us giving the names of GOOD dealers in Brisbane... sorry I couldnt be of more help than just Autoshop and SVi

I have a mate whos girl friends sellin a gts, he only told me bout two days ago, he rekons its in a1 nick, never seen it or nor do I know why she's sellin it but if ur keen to take a look send us a pm and I will tee it up and get her number to you

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
