Note: One of the tell tale signs of a series 2 R34 is the non-red 'TURBO' signature. Why nissan did this I have no idea.

I would also consider "swapping" for a cheap R32 GTS-T

in Perth

(with the price difference being negotiable as part of the deal)

If only you had been selling 6mths ago! I went to Sydney from Tas to get one! (2000 or later model GT-T) And wasn't it had trying to get one that wasn't white!
