Turbo Question

Hi guys

I'm in a little bit of a research as which tubo to buy and upgrade my r33 GTST. I am just wondering how is t03-04 sounding and also what else is there that is quite a good upgarde to consider. Any help would be great

I got a T78, quite good, boost comes on early aswell for the size it is.

this has been covered many many times in the forced induction section. the turbocharger is generally the last thing to upgrade, and you need a few supporting mods to make it worthwhile (not to mention about 7k if its a stock car) so its not just as simple as getting a new turbocharger

you can still put the turbo on though, its just you can only push it as far as the engine can go, my engine is standard with the T78 and its pushing out 200rwkw atm but needs to be tuned, only mods are exhaust, wastegate, bov, fuel regulator and fuel pump aswell as a microtech ecu.

and the 30 bottom end, i find very little lag aswell.

well u didnt say you had the 3 litre bottom end then

yeah well that wont be so bad but blackr has the 2.5 bottom end, the t78 would be terrible on it
