hey this is from autospeed

Changes for Australia included alterations to (or the additions of): side indicators, a high mount stoplight, new rear lights, child restraint anchorages, side intrusion bars, a two-position instrument light dimmer, the windscreen, side rear view mirrors, speedometer, seat belts, sunvisors, fuel filler neck, exhaust, and engine management system. Additionally, a new radio and aerial were fitted, and an under-car oil cooler was provided for the four-wheel-drive system.

I have just become the proud owner of a black 1991 Australian delivered R32 Nissan GTR (1 of 100). I was just wondering if anyone knows of the differences between the Australian Delivered GTR and the imported GTR? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Nice car mate, I like the colour too. Looks very clean.

Good to see another Australian Delivered one.

What number of 100 is yours?

Mine is no. 89 of 100 in red pearl metallic.

Is your still in standard form?

does Nissan Australia still stock parts like the rear numberplate garnish and the tail lights?

As far as i know you can still get the rear tail light though they have to be ordered from nissan. I would assume the same for the numberplate garnish.

Those real tail lights are not cheap too.

i have a spare set of rear lights... they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Are you willing to sell them?

What colour are they. I know when i rang up nissan they wanted the colour code of my car first before they could tell me if they had any.

Mine is #76 and it is still in standard form. Pretty straight and well looked after car.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
