Hi Guys

I read a thread that some others with the older model stageas were just buying universal o2 sensors from supercheap or the likes and changing the plug has anyone had any luck doing this with the m35. I was quoted $180 for genuine nissan or $140 for a bosch just wanted to check what was the best option before i replace something im not even sure is not working.

cheers

  • 2 years later...

thread dig.

no one has any specifics yet for part numbers?

22690-AL600 - claimed OEM VQ25DET part. Amayama wants $433 for one.

everyone else uses EL falcon o2 sensor with no plug...

(from what I can tell) the plug is common as shit for Nissan's of the same era.

According to the NGK website, ADM VQ-equipped cars use a plug like this:

Connector_59.jpg

of which there are many sensors on ebay with that plug.

So I suspect the NGK part number VQ turbo engines would need is: OZA544-N8

(zirconia, 18mm thread)

Can anyone back this up?

There are two plugs used on the VQ35, the front one you will need. The rear o2 has a blue plug and won't fit into the green plug.

The VQ25 and 30 run only the green one pictured above.

For less money you could buy a wideband and run the simulated narrowband output to the ecu.
