Motor vehicle claims are so easy to handle. There really should be nothing to having the insured vehicle repaired, or there is something wrong with the company. Saying that my not-at-fault standard vehicle claims experience with Shannons could not have been easier. For complicated stuff, try a medical malpratice litigation.

Honestly confirming for sure with the mechanical inspection how good it is makes me want to keep it, as does since I have been driving it this week a bit. I am in no rush, car is beautiful to drive and I have my RX3 I am selling too so will concentrate on that. Car will sell it self to a smart buyer in good time.

PMs sent. I posted the offer of $22.5k up to show it was way off the mark, althought interest is appreciated, please no more ridiculous offers on a car like this. I am by no means desperate to sell, especially not for $8-10k less than what it is worth. The car will sell itself, it is one of the finest examples out there. If you don't have the money, perhaps look at older/worse examples, lesser and/or older models or something else so we don't waste each others time.

Compression test results: 1-150, 2-147, 3-147, 4-147, 5-150, 6-147. Vehicle went through a full mechanical and panel beater/chassis inspection with flying colours for a buyer that has dissappeared. Gutless, you'd think it would be decent to at least tell me before or perhaps even after you fu(k me around hey? Ah the joy of it all.

I think they do normal cars as long as you have something else with them? Or even demonstrate you are a car person even? Dunno, give them a call I would say.

You are entitled to cancel or not renew your contract and accept the new quote - so long as details are disclosed as is. Why not? They are simply messing with rates/sum insured to screw you by the sounds of it.

I do have the lip, I took it off as it has been hit by the previous owner and has been repaired with a plastic weld and didn't quite sit exactly right (as noticed earlier in this thread). I took it off planning to buy a new one, then left it off as it is easier to negotiated gutters, speed humps etc without it. I still have it though, yes.

Famous have been around for years. I understand they are underwritten by Calliden, as are Dawes and Ryno. Calliden are really getting into the enthusiast sector of the car insurance market and are going leaps and bounds apparently.

As far as my dealings with Ryno go, they have no problems with modifications.

Also have the original brochure (big and glossy) which can be included by negotiation, I would love to keep it for a memory of the car though.

A bit... depends on a few things, like what you have in mind? I can get pics of whatever you want, understand you live interstate (I am on Ausrotary too).

Price drop as above. Market is slow so price needs to relfect that, a bargain considering how much car you get for the loot.
