  1. Don't tell them soneone declined you or they will be full of prejudice and are likely to do the same despite the (ridiculous) reasoning. Just call again and if the same idiot answers the phone hang up and try again! No one will know! Looks like they should be careful who they are allowing to provide advice, whether they are adequately trained etc. Because stupid lies like that are a serious breach of code.
  2. Since when was an insurance underwriter allowed to comment on law?? He should said the real reason he didn't want to quote. Call again dude.
  3. That's the chassis no. My car doesn't have a Jap compliance plate! Was pulled of when complianced 7 years ago. I was hoping it would be OK to go off the chassis, thanks anyway. Looks like I'll never know... EDIT: I'll check tonight, there is a massive chance I got it wrong!
  4. Sh!t yeah... shouldn't last long.
  5. Can someone please do this one for me? BCNR33024593
  6. Doesn't even have to be a Nismo tuned one to compare to. A mines' GTR, or any other aftermarket 'full' car is also a valid comparison, perhaps moreso as Nismo is owned by Nissan.
  7. Spotted bluprnt in the convention centre, wasn't in a Skyline so didn't give a wave (was a couple of days ago). Spotted a black R33 GTR with phat gold rims, sounded and looked tough as, driving past BP on Canberra Ave. I was filling up. Also a black R33 GTST filling up a couple of pumps down from me too. Not a bad day spotting.
  8. Yep, come across an odd idiot in a Skyline now and then. It is rare, but it only takes a couple of tarnish the reputation of us all... Of course, media sensationalism has a lot to answer for, but actually driving how they expect only confirms their BS. I never get guys that do that, do they really think driving like a dick head impresses chicks?
  9. Spotted a white R34 GTR with the sticker on the number plate on Wednesday I think it was, got a wave from the driver.
  10. Don't forget Vigil and Ryno. Plus there are a heap of others, ring around it's worth it to get a better policy and potentially save hundreds!
  11. Beat me to it! Cool car though for sure.
  12. Awesome. Pretty sure I spotted it in Civic a few weeks ago, sounded, looked and went the way it should. Cool car.
  13. Love your sig. Video won't load for me? Weird.
  14. Damn nice looking car but they are aging and will cost you twice that if you have bad luck. An expensive car to fix and insure... low entry price and quite a supply equals low desirability unfortunately, makes them almost uneconomical for all but those that want that exact car (GTR). Shame. You have to be cashed up and careful IMO.
  15. Yeah I can't stand exams and studying! Good thing I don't... which I'll probably pay for in the long run. Good luck!
  16. The red S3 R33 GTR VSpec for sale here. S8 RX7 EVO 6 or 7 if I could stretch it. Latest model possible TT Supra Typhoon if I could stretch it (again). Latest model possible Monaro. E36 M3. Or a heap of different older car options and a daily: Mustangs, RX3, R100, RX2 Coupe, Monaro, most likely Cosmo 110... Dodge Challenger... a heap of old Chryslers etc etc etc. I have no shortage of ideas which is probably why I have had so many different cars since having my licence 5 years ago.
  17. Double post for an accidental double click.
  18. Spotted a white S1 R33 (I think it was a S1?) coming out of near old parliament house, I was on Kings Ave.
  19. I have had a smorgasboard of cars (~22) and my GTR (I know not an R32) is the best car I have ever driven. The FD RX7 is up there with it, but they are different. What does JE think of the FD's oversteer and general favour for a good steerer?
  20. Holy shit those wheels make that car. Awesome, love that colour too.
  21. It really shows you can't buy taste doesn't it. Farrrk.
  22. A step in the right direction that's for sure. They need something for people get somewhat excited about, if only midly (in this case)...
  23. Boring maybe? Everything about conservative Australian Toyotas is exactly how you'd expect them to be, everything in the interior is exactly where it is to be expected to be, it drives how it should, no quirks... no character, no style? But that sort of predictability suits a large percentage of the population. And sales show that. The quality of Toyotas is certainly undebatable, their purpose spot on. But some people would like more to a car, something emotional, with a soul. You know what I'm saying?
  24. Yeah weird huh, a change of name. Not sure why. It was very close to Just Car Insurance, perhaps something to do with it? I might ask one of them why next time I have to speak to them.
