  1. I couldn't resist, I had to click it. :laughing-smiley-014:
  2. I will be doing this soon too... where can you order the workshop manuals? (Stupid question probably)
  3. GT-R32

    Topgear: 2007 Gt-r

Sorry to hijack, but aside from the 400R... what Nismo R33s are there? I have searched and couldn't find... Keen as, since I am purchasing so many Nismo bits for my car, would love to make it as Nismo as possible... with a benchmark even
  4. There is enough info around other forums to support Ryno for great claims service. I am now completely confident in them.
  5. There is now plenty of info suporting Ryno claims service on other forums. It appears you can switch with confidence.
  6. Stoked to hear about ryno. I have a lot of cars with them and full faith in their claims service but to actually hear the same is always better! In the end they have a great policy, are bound by the same laws and it is a company that only seems to be run by enthusiasts so it can't be anything but good you'd think.
  7. Shannons to insure under 25s. Sounds like an underwriter was looking for an easy way out of the call or used an excuse to hide another reason for not offering insurance. Call again. www.ryno.com.au - try them too.
  8. Haha But seriously, as above.
  9. My mate's VX SS made a massive 466rwkW!! But the dyno was broken haha. Nearly that in horsepower maybe, but not in kW.
  10. It's in the legislation re contributing to an accident. However undisclosed stuff is a different matter altogether. Ie. If a company can prove they would not have insured you had that said mod (or whatever) been disclosed, cover is void.
  11. Comes to average power too. I would suspect a Z tune would make that 330awkw for a large chunk of its rev range. There is giant's R32 GTR which runs a 10.2 @ 137mph with 380-400awkw... it makes 300awkw at 3500rpm - average power is where it is at for speed. Maybe the Z Tune that ran a 10.02 is one them what Nismo says has 470kW at 9000rpm (I read that in Unique Cars - dunno how true it all is). Anyway I am hijacking the thread. Back on track, tuned Porsches are mental
  12. What a monster. Awesome setup. He says Garrett equivilent N1s...?
  13. That is HUGE average power if that is the case, no wonder his 1/4 times are so darn good. That would be a genuine 600+hp job... yeah? What a monster it would be on the street.
  14. The standard I am aiming for with the build up of my car... Beautiful car. Shame you missed buying it back Merli, I know how that feels, different car alogether but it happened with an RX3 of mine.
  15. Typically at what level to the GTSSs max out? Compared to say N1s or the Garrett sold equivilents...?
  16. Hmmmmm... at that price it's a toss up between the GTSS and Garrett -5s bought from CRD for me...
  17. Shit that is serious power! What other mods to you have to get to that level?
  18. Shop around. As much as you can. Try: Shannons Just Car Vigil Famous Ryno etc etc I have used Just Car, Shannons and Ryno. Shannons and Ryno have awesome policies. Shannons have an awesome claims service (I have used it for a not at fault accident). Ryno is cheaper than Shannons by a fair bit I have found. Just Car are expensive and excesses huge. My experience.
  19. I would be interested also. The one in Australia has 330awkW I think? And the owner says it is quicker than his GT2. And it has done a 17 or 18 second 800m run.
  20. True, I guess it is past that point of being economical really isn't it, despite the purchase price.
  21. You can only assume they would put it all back to standard... the remodify and engineer? Expensive process... but it is an expensive car.
  22. All sorted, thanks to Nick
  23. The bit that sits on the actual bonnet. They don't have it listed on any of the 'usual' websites... Does anyone know where I can order one? Cheers Matt
  24. I'll be at the dyno day. But will have all my driveshafts intact so won't be on there
  25. Damn that is hot (both). I love the 35s!! I would do a Z tune engine package. Fitting all the Nismo bits to my R33, but in carbon. Tasteful stereo install (not huge). Interior retrimmed in leather, but tasteful. Full resto in the original colour, new rubbers etc. Suspension redone, dunno what exactly. Attesa system redone and modded to suit the suspension. 6 pot fron brakes and associated rear one. 3 piece polished 19x10.5" rims. But would rather buy a Z Tune out and out.
