I had a great day. Big thanks to all involved in running the day. Thanks to the instructors for all the great pointers. It was great learning from the people that really know all about drift and very easy to get on with. I delaminated my first set of tyres!!! Who was it that yelled "keep going" when Pete blew the radiator? How did you get home Pete???

Good to see a Laurel Sean. Not that many around. I love rare cars. I won't be coming to the meeting because I'll be snowboarding and Motorbike riding around Mt Beauty and Falls Creek from monday to friday but I'll see some of you at D4D on the sat. RACV should do a compression check. Generally the buyer pays for it but worth the money if you're not sure.

Agreed. If you want to add another option for the poll... -People driving slow in the fast lane. ie road 80k/h or more with 2 or more lanes. I drive an hour to, and an hour back from work every day. about 90mins a day going 100k/h. I just want to do the speed limit so move over....

To those that went, what did you think? I think it was very average because of the way it is now run. Very slow, not enough action and people driving very conservatively not wanting to hit tyres!

That is great news and it's something we should get behind if we want it to stay. I don't think it is a F'n'F hype thing because I've loved watching drifting since I saw it for the first time. It's a sport that people enjoy watching and doing no matter what the latest thing is. Bummer about the tyre walls! that will probably put some people off driving. If we get behind it maybe Bob Jane will see that there is some money in it for him and fix up the place! Bring back the thunderdome!!!

Hey Al I'm a Christian and I do believe in the spiritual realm and I believe that spiritual things do happen that we cannot understand in the natural/physical realm. It is really crazy stuff that doesn't make any logical sense (I'm a logical thinker). I think if it ever happened to me I would claim the protection I have as a Christian through Jesus Christ. No doubt I would be scared though! I quite often pray for spiritual protection when I stay in motels when I travel with work around victoria. You never know who has stayed in the room/house before you and the lives that they lived and what religion/lifestyle they practiced. My sister does house clearings for people that have houses with spirits that dwell in them. She can help clear out the spirits and understand why it is happening. She does do this with a Christian perspective however I don't know a lot about it (it freaks me out a bit). She is not a clairvoyant, however she has a sensitivity to the spiritual realm that I do not understand or experience. She does this a lot as part of her job as a counselor/homeopath/reflexoligist/a lot of other things/ and does travel to the house affected. She has a lot of experience dealing with this and general house clearing when people move into new houses etc. I have heard many stories of similar things happening to other couples and families so this isn't isolated. I watched it on a projector with some mates and our pastor at my church and we enjoyed watching it. Was dissappointed with the result but really we played well. unlucky with a few missed opportunities. We watched the movie GOAL before the game to get us in the mood. Went to bed at 4:30 which was a bit of a shock! Luckily I had a study day at tafe so I could sleep in. I don't know how you guys got to work at 8:30! Did you sleep before you went?
