I think you're crazy. Unless if you are a metal worker. It would be a hard job... Just saw one for sale on this forum for 300 with a few scratches and dints. That + paint/repair would have to be cheaper that cut/repair/paint. And you can sell your GTSt bonnet.

I've heard people over flow the gerbox by 50 ml to make it a bit better. I've had 3 nissan gearboxes crunch into 4th and one I had to replace because of 2nd synchro.

I think the attention generally comes with the area you're driving and at what time of the night. I don't drive late at night and nobody has attempted to race me in about 6 months and I have never had trouble with police. Fingers crossed... There are a lot of idiot drivers out there of all ages not just P platers. Not all P platers with skylines are hoons looking for trouble. Don't look down on us as though we don't deserve to drive a nice performance car, we bought the cars to enjoy just like everyone else. With that said, I'm now on my full licence...

I'm into performance cars / race cars. I subscribe to Drift Battle and Austalian Muscle Cars. I love the history in old race cars and how they used to make cars go fast and drift battle because all of the cars in it are built for drifting on a track. As it's been said. 20" chromies and 10 TV screens doesn't do much for me. I wanna see them on the track.

Yeah I went to Centreline to get an allignment and walked away with a whole whiteline front end camber and caster bush kit. Well worth it. Made a huge difference. Check your bushes before you take it in. Cost me 800 installed with allignment. A bit more than I expected!

yeah I've got an RB25 gearbox and it crunches in 4th. So did last car, an R31 coupe (RB20 box) Must be a common problem?

For sure mate! It'll be great to see the old holden sideways. Just make sure it's got a locked diff and you'll enjoy yourself. Just do it for the fun of it, because your car will be the limiting factor. Give it a go!
