Okay so first off I want to clarify I have no experience with anything except alcohol and cannabis. Cannabis on a semi regular basis. Ha! I did say I must be missing something huge! The elephant in the room you mention is a good point I have not thought of previously. However the point I am trying to make is that prohibition doesn't work either. We have the ability to look back at our past attempts and learn, let's do that. Like you said Troy, It all comes down to education. Most seem to know about the effects of smoking, alcohol and somewhat cannabis but not much else, I personally don't know shit about MDMA? It's just all "bad" for you, which in some cases I won't argue lol. We can't live in a perfect society but we can at the very least educate people so that they make better decisions regarding their recreational drug use. My argument of regulation and control of marijuana don't necessarily fit for all drugs, like i mentioned before. I don't have enough knowledge or experience with any other drugs to be able to say yep mdma should be sold next to cigarettes. This is why I said that decriminalisation might be the solution ? Don't arrest people, educate them.

We already have two examples of legal recreational drug use in Alcohol and Tobacco (nicotine). I think Alcohol best suites this example as Tobacco might kill you in the long run, but doesnt leave you high/drunk, in a state of mind where you have an increased chance of doing harm to yourself/others. When its legal - it is controlled and money goes to the government. Many people still abuse it but many enjoy responsibly. When it was Illegal - it is not controlled and money goes to criminals. Many people still abuse it but many enjoy responsibly. There will always be abusers. It makes no difference, legal or not, regulated and available to the public or supplied by criminals. I feel like im missing something huge here? Does this not make sense at all? lol

Overall i agree .. ahh yes ! i forgot to mention that by decriminalisation i mean quantities for personal use. With legalisation/regulation it is definitely a drug by drug situation, like i said, i dont think every drug should be sold at the corner store. More research is needed. The end result that needs to be achieved is to (where possible) re route funds - instead of going to drug lords, government can use tax revenue to improve our lives (hopefully lol) and to help those who have unfortunately become addicted to much harsher substances. Sure, its possible to make the link between decriminalisation and increase in users but there are ways to combat that. Education! As mentioned previously, people are gonna do what they want, but proper education will reduce the numbers. Legalisation is to stop money going to dealers and decriminalisation is to increase the chances of addicts being successfully rehabilitated, lessening the chance they will go back and hurt themselves/give money to criminals. I think im repeating myself a little lol

Just to add to my previous post lol - Here are some articles regarding Portugal's pretty much "blanket" decriminalisation of drugs. So how do you plan on stopping people from doing dugs XGTRX? Ice, Alcohol, LSD, Tobacco, Marijuana, Ecstacy, Heroin, whatever it may be? Its impossible. The only reason that crime/criminals benefit is because there is an underground market for it. If Alcohol and tobacco were still prohibited, they would be profiting off that also. Most likely funding more illegal activity and possibly violent crime. How do you stop this? You take away as much of the market from them as possible. Regulate, control and tax, just like Alcohol and Tobacco. That doesn't mean we should legalise all current illegal substances and sell them in the local corner store. No, but for a quick arguments sake lets take Marijuana: Obviously the more research on health effects the better, but at the moment i would not categorise it as any worse than Alcohol or Tobacco and It makes millions-billions of dollars for criminals. Regulation, control and tax of the drug would take away a MASSIVE source of profit for these criminal organisations, which in turn would lessen their power. On the other hand, we have hard drugs like Ice or Heroin. I have no experience with these personally but i would say that these are NOT something that can be regulated or controlled (some might not agree?) as the health risks are far too great. In this case i believe decriminalisation would be the best course of action at the very least. Addicts need to be HELPED not to be thrown in jail. I dont know how much funding there is for methodone/rehab clinics but i think the main focus should be on helping these people. At the end of the day more successful rehabilitation means less people going back and throwing their money at drug dealers. Once again, less money = less power/crime. Anyway those are my thoughts, curious to hear more of what others think

Im surprised he let you take that good of a look at the car. He seemed extremely hesitant when i was there. Not sure if it is still for sale, haven't seen it out the front on weekends in a while.

I think thats the one, cant remember the yard or workshop name lol great help. But it is right next to the Holden dealership. GTR is out for show on weekends only so if anyone heads down the hume highway around there, you will see it.

Saw the car at a lansvale car yard as i drove past one day, decided to stop by and have a quick look. As soon as i started asking about papers and wanting to check the vin, popped open the bonnet , the salesman got called over by his boss and he took over. Didnt want me making note of anything to do my own checks. Gave me a life story about why he doesnt like people doing that and he has all the papers (but you need to practically have bought the car to see any of them) About 2 days later i get a text from this car yard offering me the car (i have a WTB ad on gumtree) with a link to their ad, which lists the VIN number. Seems pretty shifty to me, dude was SUPER reluctant to let me check anything but then lists it on the ad? and wont let you check anything yourself until lots of money has exchanged hands lol .. curious to see how this pans out.

Hey guys, its that time =/ Wasn't planning on selling until next year, but nothing ever goes to plan does it lol really sucks knowing there's a possibility of selling, this was my first car, Its still my baby so if by any chance you do like the car, and do want to take it, you gotta take care of her ! anyway a bit about the car IMPUL Body kit with IMPUL badges and strut brace 18 Inch bronze Works CR KAI rims (gutter rash) Adjustable coilovers Pioneer LCD touch screen/DVD, Pioneer sub, Boss Amp Clean stock interior (apart from LCD) 3inch 5zigen exhaust Xenon Adjustable headlights Genuine Skyline floor mats Deep cycle battery (with digital meter) Aftermarket extractors Exedy cushion button clutch Previous owner says its been dyno'd and tuned it to 159KW but i never bothered to make sure of it. Didn't matter too much to me honestly. It does have a crack on the front bumper and scrape on the side skirt I planned on fixing it but i just put waterproof tape over the crack and you can barely see it. I dunno maybe I'm just blinded because i love the car Its on 127k km and not daily driven (i catch the train to the city to work so i only drive it on weekends and occasional Friday night) I also have a replica R34 GTR wing and R34 turbo brakes i bought to put on but haven't yet . and other bits and pieces like carbon fiber eyelids and carbon fiber door scuffs.
