  1. I know they are a direct swap with an R33 series 1 and the R34 cooler is 61% larger (thanks to Konrad's calculations). Not sure about the series 2 though.
  2. Spotted Mike (Oz) and Jaime at Carindale this arvo.+
  3. More than you can afford... Choy. Lets try and stay on topic

  5. Just spotted NIS34 on Scrub Road near my place. I waved but got no response from the driver but her window was down.
  6. It should be readily available from autobarn. I looked in a few supercheaps but they've had to order it in. Ive had my car 18 months and the one bottle is still going cos you dont use much at a time.
  7. Ive been putting plastx on the outside and its fixed it. You'd be surprised (I borrowed some cos i didnt believe my mate) but yes, an inside clean is a more permanent solution.
  8. Get some Meguires PlastX, it cleans it right up but it does come back after a while (month or so if ur car is parked outside).
  9. Hey mate, not to ruin a sale but an R33 Airbox (GTST) fits but requires a couple of holes drilled for the snorkel, otherwise, it has the same mount points etc. I mention this cos i've found R33 airboxes easier to find.
  10. Spotted a Gun metal Grey 4 door R34 at Goodlife in Holland Park/Mt Gravatt. I parked next to ya if you're on here. If only I remembered to give them one of the SAU cards.
  11. Happy Birthday Mike
  12. Spotted 34JET outside the Adrenaline Bar and saw Chris (gtst4door i think) cruising around the city at around 1am. I was in the Champagne R31 (WEZ01).
  13. Hi, Do the cannards come with the kit or are they a separate item? Damien
  14. If you're going for the looks of a car (which could be seen from the pics), you may choose to consider an N/A R34. It will cost a lot less, it would be legal (those other P platers may be N/A) and if you're keen later, you could turbo it or sell it to another P plater that shares your tastes.
  15. Saw SLO34 driving from the Valley to the City around 1am. I waved and probably carried on but I was on foot so I could see why there was no wave back
  16. Other mods I've heard of is removing some of the rubber seals around the bonnet to allow more air flow.
  17. Well u could try isolating the air your pod sucks in. Look at making a heat sheild or something similar. It may not make too much of a difference power wise but its a step in the right direction.
  18. The stock turbo does tend to break around 12psi but some have run higher and not had any/many problems. It all depends on the amount of reliability you want. The first thing would be to remove your restriction i.e Exhaust. If you're going to put a boost controller on, you may be able to up the boost a little. I have 3" split dump exhaust system, cold air box with pod filter but I now have high-flowed my turbo. I'm running 12psi without a problem but I'm not pushing it much in this heat and my front mount cooler should be here next week. Most people who have increased the boost in their car have at least exhaust done.
  19. 666Dan had a lot of success with turbo'ing his N/A R34 GT. Now that he has a GTT (after the previous car being stolen and violated), he has mentioned that his N/A + turbo performed much better but remember there is a lot involved with Turbo'ing an N/A.
  20. Saw mmmgtst at the Gym in Holland Park. So sleeper looking.
  21. Congrats mate.
  22. CES have fitted a few R34's with systems (owners here on the forums). All I can say in terms of the difference between a very high flowing loud system and a CES System is volume by a lot on the outside and pretty much no drone on the inside. The performance when considering relatively stock cars is negligble. I mean if R34GTX's 7 month year old baby can sleep the whole way through a cruise up and down hills, I'd say its quiet. On that note though, if you are planning serious mods, you may want to consider a more expensive or freer flowing system like the more expensive jap brands OR, get a cheap high flowing system with whatever tips you want and get an Apexi Exhaust Controller Valve (electronic costs a bit more than the lever operated one). That way you can have an easily switchable system. Not 100% on the legality though. Some R34 GTT or R34 GTX-T's came with an exhaust volume control (only 2 or 3 settings though) from the factory.
  23. Yeah, tools in the rain. We had to pull over for a bit cos semi drivers were driving like foos. Awesome day. Thanks Erin and the gang.
  24. My pics are in the site in my signature.
  25. Standard is 2.5" (or at least was on my car)
