  1. Its so close, i can smell the BBQ already.
  2. I've been using Endless Pads VN8500 with no dramas. They definately grip well and not much dust (for a pad that is supposed to produce a bit). Centrax would be the supplier of choice (I use them for all my mechanical work anyway).
  3. I don't think you can go past CES's system. I didn't get one from them and I know my car is very loud (but very unrestricted). Mine is just a 3" split dump pipe system with hiflow cat, hotdog resonator and cannon (with removable silencer makes it much quieter). The CES system that a few people have bought comes with a 3" split dump pipe system with cat, resonator and a twin tip magnaflow muffler and it is much quieter and doesnt have the annoying drone. And because of the research etc that CES has done, they are pretty good flowing too (not too restrictive and dyno proven).
  4. Hi, Welcome to the forums but you'll find that doing a simple search for "Neo" or R34 and you should get the results you're after. The R34's (and newer Stageas) came with RB25DET Neo which is only a bit powerful off the factory floor. Some say that theyre strong or that R33 RB25DET's are easier to mod but as I said, the search should help you work it all out.
  5. Happy Birthday El Presidente
  6. I'll be there. Also PM if any assistance is required.
  7. I can if ur desparate...
  8. The best idea would be to contact CYA34 if you can because he mentioned he had a Microtech on his car at Massive Skylines Cruise 3
  9. Its already on Boost Cruising. I've asked a mate to check R31skylineclub and post on there if it hasnt been already.
  10. Well I'm going R34 hiflow this week (turbo comes out in 2 hours). I'll take pics and ask for exact sizes (I'm getting slightly larger internals) to compare.
  11. The RB25DET Neo has variable valve timing and lift. The R33 RB25DET also had variable cam timing but to a lesser extent. There is only about a 20kw power difference and not much torque. I do not believe the R33 plenums suit the Neo (someone has asked this in the past) but I can't remember the reason.
  12. G'day jmac. I haven't seen you around. You may wish to wait a week or so before looking at aftermarket ECU. Dan (666DAN) has ordered his new programmable ECU from http://www.bikirom.com As you can see, the price is far less than the brand name alternatives. They have just finished testing them on ER34's. Once Dan has his installed and tuned, assuming it all goes well, a few of us are going to get one. He has pretty similar mods in mind to you.
  13. Afro does scrape on occasion. He just side climbs obstacles though

  15. I'm in for $70 or less
  16. Slide them either to the front or rear of the vehicle and lift using a butter knife or similar.

As for the aftermarket ECU's, are Apexi SAFC's allowed (piggy back systems)?
  19. Hi yeah, the compressor wheels are supposedly nylon/plastic based and the R34 turbo's are the same as an R33 model (I think the series 2). http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=84465&hl=nylon and See http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=87783&hl=nylon
  20. Check the traders area. I think one of them in the Gold Coast sell them but I got mine from http://www.nengun.com (i think are the cheapest). Be prepared to wait a week or two though.
  21. Hi, I had a custom split dump pipe system done by Exotic Exhausts at Sumner Park but staying with the stock turbo. They should be able to help you out.
  22. Heh, its the one between the Vic and Exchange Hotel. I was getting out of the black Suby.
