Sorry to sort of diverge from the topic but is yours a series 2 R34 because of the R34 GTT's I've seen around here (QLD), the series 2 cars seem to boost close to the +1 but the series 1s go to about the 3/4 line (the mark before) and rarely over that.

Hi, I'm after a HKS EVC Boost controller (current one with small screen). I've seen it on Nengun but I'll need to pay duty and probably have to fill in the customs form. It sells for around $700 there but at normal retailers here, it sells for around $1000. Does anyone know where I can get one locally (so not having to pay extra t or deal with customs) less than $800? Damien

I got a 3" Turbo back exhaust with a hot dog resonator and cannon (with hi-flow cat of course). It's pretty loud in the cabin but outside its pretty cool. I got mine done at Exotic Exhausts at Sumner Park. Just note that mine is 98dB (8 over limit) but with the silencer in, it comes down to 90dB.

Spotted 53XYN on Kessells Rd about 9:30 this morning and Emanuel's Stagea (RS004) leaving Bob Jane. I was on foot waiting for my car to be serviced.

If its any indication, my mechanics did it on Wednesday in an anti-clockwise clockwise fashion so facing the car from the front did the drivers front, then passenger front, passenger rear then driver rear. They used some vacuum tool to suck it out though (so bleeding and pedal pumping isnt required).

This may help a little.

Agreed, we used an input shaft out of an auto box for lining up the clutch on the manual for an R32 gearbox.

I saw BAO 82, R34 GTT in either midnight purple or black on the way home from work at 6:30am on Cav Rd. It's always good when Skyline Owners end up lined up at lights to have a chat.

Well if u were picking someone up in the Valley last night around 3:30am, I would have seen you. Either way, it was a Silver R34 GT-T coupe. I was in my mates R31 tho.

I saw a black R33 with plenty of gauges with the plates "DRAG YA" just then at the Metropol (cnr Pine Mtn and Creek Rds). Very nice kit

Hi, I have the factory valve and with a pod filter, it makes the BOV noise but not flutter. If you search for it on most forums, you'll find that the flutter is a bad noise. Some people claim its the HKS SSQV while the believe the majority believe that valves are adjusted incorrectly causing turbo surge. Either way, its up to you whether you still want to go ahead. You can try the forums for BOV's or places like autobarn etc or if you can wait, try www.nengun.com if you want to get it cheap and can install it yourself.

A 4th for Mercury Motorsport. Did a full engine replacement for my mates 180SX. SR20DET was dead and they got a new engine installed and all good to go in 8 days.

AFRO8 (Bayside Blue R34 GTT Series 2) works in Sumner Park and see's ya a bit, you could always check his car out for specifics. Yes, the engine cover is all grey on the series 2 (But Afro's was hand painted). See the pics in my sig for my car. They also got rid of the silver letters "SKYLINE" on the back and changed it to just an inprinted type lettering.

G'day, welcome to Brisbane. Well the first thing to do is try and become a SAU QLD member that way you can get a discount card for a lot of your services. For car alarms etc, I'd recommend Northfield Car Sound. The service at their Moorooka store is pretty good. As for meeting up, there are Chilli nights (see the Chilleh Town! - Happy hour my ass... thread) but as far as cruising goes, it seems to be on a random basis. The really big ones like Massive Skylines Cruise to Lake Baroon was awesome (80+ Skylines).

AFRO, is PEAR's it plugged up like my pipes cos remember my T-Piece has been soldered shut and theres a screw in one end?

It looks really awesome. For ppl with Alpine head units (Silver with the blue ring around the volume), it matches pretty well.

Possibly not. Mine pops up just enought for me to use an elbow to lift it and i have the standard spoiler.
