Saw two R34's on the way to work on Cav Rd at 12:30. A midnight purple R34 GTT Coupe. The guy flashed his lights at me and I waved. The other one was on the SE freeway going to the city, the other car was on its way out. Couldnt see the plates.

I saw 579??? white R33 GTST on Creek Rd near Carindale Shopping centre at about 10pm. I know that ppl say the flutter is bad for the turbo but damn it sounded cool.

Dan, go to Northfield @ Moorooka and speak with Drew (Owner with an R34 GTT). He'll hook u up if ur after speakers etc, and knows the audio side of the car inside and out.

Easiest way to see is go to a site like www.svi.com.au and click the products screen and it gives u the 0-100, power and other details for common imports. Then compare that with manufacturer figures for WRX's, falcons and commos.

Is this for defect clearance? I have a box that I purchased that you can borrow until you can find one to buy. I have a cold air box but would like to hang onto the R33 one in case... And yes, its and R33 box cos I couldn't find an R34 one.

May I ask why you would like a stock 34 Cooler?

Its not on my coupe but I have Xenons so maybe the auto function isnt on it. Dp u have Xenons or halogens?

Hi, I received a defect notice that was a self-clearance. I have made the changes, signed the notice along with a certified db test (done at an exhaust shop with the correct testing gear) and handed it in at the police station. The lady at the front desk said she'd pass it on to the officer. My question is for self clearances, should i be expecting an acknowledgement for the defect being cleared or is signing a self-clearance the end of the process?

Any plans for an R34 GTT kit?

Saw a nice silver Stagea getting sideways on the intersection of Old Cleveland Rd and Bennetts Rd around 1pm. Its nice to see 4WD and Hicas in action!!

What toby19 said. The switch should be to the left of the steering wheel near ur knees. The power shouldn't cut at all if TCS is off but you will still see the SLIP light flash.

Saw a Black R34 GTR at Sunnybank (I think it had a 101motorcafe sticker on the side) at around midnight last night. Sounded awesome!!!

Yep, this stuff works a treat. I thought the hazyness was on the inside but after using plastX, it seemed to only be on the outside.

From what I've read, the aus-specs still use S14 engines but the jap S15 engine is different (VVTi i think).

I doubt it since the car was seen out west (Jimboomba I think it was). A mate of mine said that he's seen it around the Cavendish Rd area a few times. I do remember one thing distinctive and that was a small red rectangular badge about 1cm high and about 5 cm wide in the lower right corner of the rear bumper (I was looking from behind).

I saw an R34 GT (i couldnt see the last T) in navy blue near the Mt. Gravatt TAFE yesterday. I hardly seem them that colour.

I got defected for noise and i had a 3" turbo back system (with cat) rated at 98db. To get me down to 90dB (the limit), the exhaust place put in a hotdog resonator and silencer for the cannon. I'd say for the 4.5", u might need another muffler squeezed in. As for the sound test, I had trouble finding places in Brisbane who could do it (cos ppl had their machines being repaired) but if u need to come all the way to Brisbane, Valley Exhausts near RBH do the dB test for $55.

Sorry, last question before I order: Does it have all the mounting points to secure it to the car or do I need to do that myself and is it possible to get a non clear window one?
