  1. That's a Malaysian Proton Putra, saw this once during last year's Japan GT race in Sepang. The owner did some major chop & joint with the 34 headlight and taillight. Quite hard to distinguish it from a distance though.I heard this car was totalled quite sometime back. Probably a rumour..
  2. I am using SSQV HKS Blowoff valve and with EVC 5 Boost controller on my 34GTT. The only way to make this jerk dissapear is to reduce the gain on the EVC, however doing this you will not be able to reach you pre-selected boost since the gain is to compensate it. Though this would only happen when my boost is set at .75 to .85 bar. Anything lower then there is no jerk at all. To work around this, i set my boost higher (.8 bar) but still remain the gain setting to reach my .75 bar. I was told that the boost climb up too fast that we get a slight surge so the ECU will cut the fuel or ignition. Just my 2 cent.

  4. Im using the HKS Drager for GTR33 on my GTT which is quiet on idle, cruise (no drone) and sound wild on top end. Would love to remove the center box to get more less restriction since the rear cannon is already big to muffle the sound. Anyone try it yet.
  5. Hi Uras, I'm following this tread with great interest. Hoping to have a chance to learn the software/tuning compare to HKS Fcon SZ or Is which require Selected HKS writers workshop only. I drive a GTT and planning to upgrade turbo & injectors soon. Any chance of using the FCD/Speed cut function without doing dyno / road tune? Does it plug-in and has default setting for the fueling & timing like the PFC? Currently few workshop who install/sells EMU has somehow experienced burn coils or blown engine, so im am hoping you could shed some light on whats causing them whether it wrong parts install, wiring, setup programing? At least i have some knowledgeable answer if we do hit a wall during installation/tune.

  7. The silver car is using a complete Bomex kit with CF rear bonnet & Top Secret CF Wing. I think that kit looks good in any metallic paint colour, Like my Veilside, it looks better in White than Black which was the previous colour when i bought it. just my 2 cent comments.
  8. With Tomei Poncams 260 deg, is the exhaust camgear still need any adjustment? Any advice on how much gain i can get.

  10. Sorry Guys for the confusion. I am planning these turbo upgrade until i have enough cash (1 year from now) to buy the RB26 engine. Thats the reason why im not modding any internal parts for the RB25. I can still sell the 2835 later if that is the best turbo for my current setup & needs. I have sat in a car with T04E+ RB26, it really comes on boost really fast and progresive, so can still use this turbo again once i fed up with the stock twins. Why RB26? Well they have more grunt and mod options parts availability, so it's best to spend money on the internal of the RB26 than the RB25. I need advice on which turbo gives more oomph on the street & highway blast for RB25.
  11. Hi Guys I have this two option turbo for my 34GTT Manual. What would you reckon to be a good street / highway bashing turbo for an internal stock engine. The reason why is because my next engine i wish to fit is an R32 or R33 GTR. The Garrett was formally on a 32GTR engine with a proper plate fitted to the cast iron manifold as a single turbosetup (i do not need to pay anything for this turbo..it's a gift). I will be running HKS FCon Vpro ECU and i was told the change from 25DET to 26DETT wuold be minimal while still retaining the GTT ECU for A/Con & other electrical components. The 2835 will come with a HKS dump pipe together. Current mods: Greddy Oil Cooler Blitz Downpipe HKS Drager Exhaust system Blitz Twin Core Radiator HKS FMIC HKS EVC 6 Turbo install will be together with Upgraded Sard Fuel pump (running simultaneously with the original) and Nismo Fuel Regulators. I don't have sufficient cash for the Fcon Vpro ECU, so im wondering is it possible to run on low boost around .8 to 1 bar boost for the time being. Though i will do a standard dyno run to check the A/F after install. Need advice from the "Pro's"......help

  13. Im also interested in putting Poncam 260 deg with cam gears for intake & exhaust. And i know the intake cannot be adjusted due to the VTC. How much gain if just with the cam gear with stock cams compare to Poncam 260 deg with stock turbo.Im currently getting 284 whp from my recent dyno at 0.85 Boost (running really rich). Not sure which is the next mod i should do first , ECU (HKS Fcon Vpro) or Cams (Poncams) or change the turbo (have a HKS TO4E with HKS cast manifold with external gate waiting). Wonder what will the gain & drivability for the next mod...?
  14. Yes the GTR bar need the wider fender. As for the bonnet you also need the GTR hinges and hoodlock, however the Top Secret CF bonnet doesn't have a hoodlock bracket so just the GTR hinges is required + bonnet hatchlock (aftermarket).
  15. Thanks man...im now thinking of ordering from Japan the original piece. If not mistaken it's around 12800 yen. Kinda cheap if it fits, no need to fabricate and spoil the Veilside front bar. Keeping my finger's crossed. Keep you posted soon.
  16. Hi Guys Just got my CF Top Secret bonnet, now looking for a lip for it. Anyone has tried the one exactly as URAS Blitz Drift car. It is using the same bonnet as mine. Want to know the actual dimension for height to fill the gap. Appreciate feedback...Cheers! Uras Blitz car sample
  17. Hi Alien Great Pics mate!! Black really fits the Impul front bar. Seen white colour but look plain too. For me was the opposite as i got mine 2nd hand which was previously black in colour. Somehow the lines didn't come out in that colour. Btw this is a complete veilside kit (Front,side & rear). I just played around with the black matt colour in certain parts so that the lines would show more prominently plus too much white can make everything loong humongous. Plus it would be an easy fix ($5 can spray) should i scratch it over speedhumps. Going away on a trip for a week, hope to fit the CF bonnet after that. Post more pics ya....   18. Hi Alien What front bar are you using, is it Do-Luck? Got a bigger picture to look at? Look real mean in Black. The only thing about Do-luck is trying to get a lip when using a GTR bonnet. I'm still trying to source a lip for mine atm cos my Top Secret GTR bonnet is going in soon. The funny thing is they don't have a hoodlock bracket so it need a bonnet clip lock instead. Sigh...
  19. Thanks Guys...for the wonderful comments. I just love the overall kit, espescially the front & rear. But the main Looker is the rear which im trying to get the Top Secret diffuser to match it together. The lip or bottom lining is currently been sprayed matt black all round. Easier to maintain should there be any scratches or gets dirty. One thing for sure it is very low low low....Meantime a Top Secret GTR Dry Carbon bonnet is going in soon. Had to do something to the upper lip to suit the GTR bonnet and also my set of wheels (look kinda plain). One thing i notice on the highway nowadays is the car feels really planted and stability has improve tremendously. Steering felt much heavier too. The front downforce is so useful that i don't require a canard. Hope to see more styling mods from everyone. Will post more pics later...Cheers!
  20. Hi Guys Here is the all rounder look of the car. The front is different than the shark nose like what you posted. Plan to change to CF bonnet of the GTR type then i will get a lip in between the bonnet and the front bumper. Now i think it look better with a GT wing and probably another set of wheels.
  21. Sorry mate, i always thought the rear wing is meant for high speed stability isn't it? Correct me if possible, when the GT Wing is set high up is more for Track high speed runs and for drag is is the opposite to have less resistance for the 1/4 mile. I prefer the low type like SARD or SIGNAL wing which is close to the GTT height. Appreciate feedback on their GT Wing stability...Cheers!
  22. Hi Guys Your rides all looks great with the kits. I finally found a Veilside kit for GTT and now at the paint shot. Still haven't fix to the car yet, keep you all posted. Btw what wing you guys reckon should match with it? I heard the original GTT wing is useless after 180km/h. Kinda broke now but hoping to look into CWest Carbon wing for GTR when fill up my wishing well again. Cheers!
  23. The Ultimate seem like a good buy with all the harness and support tool provided. Anyway it is nice to be able to fiddle with the software and tuning by yourself, but tuning it wrong is high which let to my friend blowing up his engine on the same day he dyno then when home to alter the setting himself. Most piggy back & ECU should be tune on the dyno then leave it once it's done. I will probably go for an FCon SZ or a 2nd FCON Vpro depending on availability plus i have a tuner who drives a GTT with Vpro too. We are always chasing for power, so buy something that do not limit ur goal for many year to come since the ECU is the brain for everything.

  25. Had the RT 615 for almost 4 -5 months. Still has awesome grip and turn-in feel. Stick to the road like glue. However i am currently using them for the front pair only. My Toyo T1R at the rear is probably in their 50% state, getting kinda loose and less sticky. Question...has anyone tried Marangoni Zeta Linea tyres before? Had a good offer for a 2nd set (90% new)to replace the rear tyres. But i notice a tear on the inner rib, going to check with my tyre shop to see whether it's still safe to buy (frens selling them after he has damaged his rim & tyre hitting a pothole or something). Kinda worried the air will leak someday....any advice guys?
