You'd want to hope it was displaying psi (x100kPa). Do you know what the suggested max boost is for your hi-flow? & do you have a copy of the manual? It really is a matter of playing around with the settings & everyone will have different settings coz, of the different characteristics of our mods & tune. If it helps these were my settings: LO (10psi) Set: 2% Gain: 8% Set Gain: 45% HI (14.5psi) Set: 35% Gain: 10% Set Gain: 82%

Dash Lights, Tranction Control Coming On
pkblade replied to Booya's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
If its anything like the Active LSD warning light it means there could be a fault in the traction control system. -
Thats normal. To get the correct level reading the trans should be at normal operating temp, so go for a drive around the block couple times & during which you should manual shift through the gears. Then with the engine still idling check the fluid level as you would with the engine oil. So if u checked the level while its still cold it prob showed it was low, so lets hope u didnt overfill to much.

As suggested its a slipping belt & its most likely the power belt, just needs re-tensioning.

Ive also ever used Fuch. Currently using Titan Supersyn which is fully synthetic (5W-50). Also, when strapped for cash I have used Titan Performance Plus (15W-??) which is semi-synthetic with no worries .

Good advice . The way I see it you have two options: 1. Manual valve body - I believe Keas have made one for the JATCO RE4R01A; or 2. Upgrade the current valve body & pick up one of MV Automatics' little black unit thingy ($200). The unit disables the ecu from controlling the trans & requires you to manually shift. With both options you should be able to use an aftermarket computer. Not sure how much power the manual valve body would be able to handle but, MV's (stage II) shift kits is capable of high 200rwkw.

Bugatti Veyron Dethroned Already?
pkblade replied to Big Rizza's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I wouldnt say the Veyron has been knocked off entirely, considering it has a speed limiter in place & what Saleen is offering is an aftermarket upgrade. I'd hope the tyres + wheels on the Saleen will be able to handle those speeds or has a similar safety feature like the Veyron to keep them inflated when they shi7 themselves. -
I guess once bitten...twice shy, hey Andrew. I was fortunate to have missed that Newton car park fiasco. Vange: Even if u have a large cruise & let the cops know its no guarantee that people will not act likes hoons or stop the police from defecting u. This was demonstrated in the last charity cruise that went down to Victa, where I was told there was like 1 cop for every 5 cars & more money was raised from fines & defects. Not the type of cruise u'd want to go on. Ive also found that the cruises kept small & oraganised through emails/ PMs have all gone with out a hitch. Also, I know that the police have a rating (1-6) for each meet/ hot spots which, u should be aware of when selecting meet spots. They normally have undercover patrolling these spots .

That would of been a hairy moment for no.#45 . I went karting at Port Elliot Pitts on the wkend & a mate swerved on the second chicane to avoid hitting someone, he hit the dirt ditch & then launched the kart a good foot in the air. He's still prob feeling it today .

Going on by another forum apparently plates were 2TIMER, if thats the case I remember seeing this car & it was an asian driver, so possibly he was just trying to park . But, I agree with Chops' comments though & whats worse it happened in a busy area of town.
