    Hi all, i have a r32 gtst that i have fitted a r33 style rb25det gearbox to. the r33 has a electronic speedo whereas the r32 has a mechanical drive. is there a way around this as the r33 type speedo drive is much longer than the r32 type. is there one out of another car i should be using?? has anyone else performed this conversion?

    spend more and get a clean example, and allow for some serious maintence. cars complied under sevs or raws scheme are "generally" better, although ive seen some poor examples of both. get in contact with a workshop that works on gt-rs and pay them for a decent inspection. and i hope you like gunmetal grey!!!

    well done to Erin for organising a excellent drive in support of an excellent cause! was hoping to say gday to you Glen shame you couldnt make it out for the full drive.. front bar looks good! to everyone that took pics theres some great shots of the day in these galleries, i wish my photography skills were as good as yours! some great memories...

    Know all the guys that run GT Auto Garage and can vouch for there experience, professionalism and knowledge. Genuine good guys, the technicians there have been working on my cars since my first perfomance Nissan (5 years ago) and recently fitted some aftermarket stuff to my current 32 gt-r.. Cant wait till the dyno appears, will be a truely one stop shop!!

    they handle terrible, but spin the wheels ok!! there really meant to be 4wd and obviously designed like that.. and with regards to the dyno run, they probably pull out the front drive shaft, only 4 bolts underneath the car, to dyno it it. (if its a 33) 32s, just pull the 4wd fuse link.

    my jzx90 gets mistaken for a camry many a time.. the 1jz manual ensures that it doesnt go like one though! used to have a datto ute 5 years ago with a stock fj20det, i had it waaaay before all the boys were doing them.. a stocky cefiro gets no looks from the general public also, and are awesome as we all know!

    the gtx has all the turbo goodies (brake, suspension, better trim) but a na engine. turbo with no turbo so to speak.

    if the car is that cheap it would be worth a trip to spain to buy it off the owner direcly!! if there is in fact a r33 gt-r in spain to purchase! smells like bullshit to me..

    its a good read, i saw why my mark 2 toyota got destroyed by a certian gts4 sedan that was in the magazine!! the two bayside blue 34s are my favourite!
