  3. Hey guys. Need an R33 GTR power steering pump and lines. The ones from the rack that run over the crossmember to the pump / reservoir. R33 gts-t power steering lines / pump *might be ok too. Cheers Simmo

  5. The nistune you remove your chip and insert the board. The only other thing you need is a consult cable. No Emulators !!! Then you can real time tune through the consult port. The software is kinda simular to the power fc data-logit. Same sort of logic. Its very good. Has lots of features and more on the way.
  6. I've got a chip on my car. Hyperdrive in Perth tuned it up. Worked awesome !! But has Z32 afm, gtr injectors/cooler and cat back. If you want one, worth a call to http://www.hyperdrivems.com.au/ I think there getting them in.

I am sorry I believe with a 1.3 60ft if he puts on drag slicks he will not go stuff all quicker. Did he manage to run another pass with a simular 60ft or is this a once off ? I'd be keen to see it backed up at another track like willowbank If he does its quite an acheivement taking down the likes of keir wilson and theo woollett to the 60ft !! He just sneaks into tenth place on HPI list, so well done on that !

Given there is no car on the HPI drag list that comes close to that 60ft and we are talking 8 second cars on street drag radials this seems very strange. http://www.hpi.com.au/drag_records.php There are cars doing 1.3's in the world but none on true street tyres that I know of !! The all use drag radials and a good 1000 to 1500 hp ! I mean no offence but I think you gotta look at this logically. If true this could be some sort of world record.
  9. Did i say i was comparing anything other then cars ? the CA S13 car has all the same features as An SR one I think ? so not sure where the extra car weight comes from.
  10. on the scales at drift day S13 Sr20 manual turbo 1200kg average R32 rb20 turbo manual 1320 avrage S13 Rb20 manual turbo 1260kg R32 with Sr20 1260 Note CA S13 was definetly lower then SR, i dunno if thats the body(88 - 91 car) or what but they where around 1160 kg. I would say 60kg between SR and RB20 including manifolds(yes 6 has heavier everything) and gearbox(sr / rb20 same same). Fully stripped out Silvias got down to 1040 kg for interest sake
  11. Hi Brad, I agree with Daniel. I have a nismo twin in my hack car and its one of the most streetable twins I have ever driven. Its not the coppermix but the model before which is simular design. The wife can hop in and drive it no stalling ! I plan to get coppermix nismo for my next car. If you can't get a good price email your mate steve/mayhem. Tell him butters reckons he can get a good price
  12. Ok pics as requested. Clutch is truly top condition ! The plates vary from 4.17mm to 4.21mm of course i took pic of the best one No rainbow on the plates, no scaring or abnormal wear. No grooves in fingers and very little wear there. I also found I have the release sleeve and bearing to go with this. Will throw it in for the $1100
  13. Seen some wildy in-accurate comp test gauges. Some read 20 - 30 psi of what they should. Doesn't matter though as said above as long as all cyclinders read about the same. Just means you can't really compare the number to the factory manual. Good ol super cheap china comp gauge FTL.

  15. Turbos in top nick, They are R32. From a low K Jap domestic stock engine. Any dramas with turbo's they would be money back.

  17. Awesome post djr81. Thank You !! That diagram is tops, I can see clearly it is a mechanical clutch type LSD. I get what you are saying about how it is different to a 1/1.5/2 way as well. So my next question and its just outa curiousity is how does the Active Lsd work in a R33 gtr-vspec then ??

  19. Ok Can people fill in the blanks please ? R32 gts-t = Viscous Clutch type LSD R32 GTR = ?? R33 GTR = ?? R33 GTR V-Spec = ?? + some active lsd stuff R34 GTR = Helical + ??? Now rumor mill tells me R33 / R32 GTR has mechanical One way Clutch type LSD. Does anyone know this for sure ???
  20. Yep I agree. If you look at the bolt pattern on the exhaust housing that won't bolt up to a 32 / 33 style dump pipe. Are you sure it is T3 and not T2 ??
  21. Which part ? you agree below it does pull out timing based on water temp ? Yes as I said above I agree, its a safety net. Now first there is several levels of ping. My loggin is of mid to high knock numbers from 30 - 50. So you probably wouldn't class that as the same dramatic ping that this poor fella is getting. Next is how much $$ you got to bet ??? lol j/ks
  22. no kidding ... lol Yep I agree. It is a safety net for when shit goes wrong. I've got some datalogit logs that show quite the opposite. A tune with too much timing made the car run hot. Dropping the timing, dropped the knock numbers and directly dropped the water temps Just my experiences though
