  1. you may be making more boost on the street then it was on the dyno.
  2. I bought this ecu for a mate and he ended up not needing it and kept the power fc and dumped the ecu back onto me. so i am selling it to get my money back. $1300 including bosch air temp sensor, still has the stickers in the box and the vac line and adaptronic bottle opener (bonus!! lol) and tuning cable can ship anywhere in aus for $20 and can tune it if you are local Newcastle NSW. ecu retails for $1499 and the sensor is about $75, still has the new warranty as normal etc etc. This is for the NEO rb25det from R34 gtt. cheers
  3. has anyone used e85 to clean injectors, was thinknig of running a tank of e85 through it before ripping them out and getting them cleaned.
  4. i got a set of king spring lows for the rear for sale if the buyer is interested. pm me.
  5. its in newcastle nsw. but can post for $20. yes it has a tune in it, it was running in a car.
  6. As title, used with sensor. selling to get rid of it. $500 you wont get a aftermarket ecu for a r33 this cheap anywhere. comes with air temp sensor, and has inbuilt map sensor. cheers
  7. I got some parts for sale. GT35r with a Garret 1.06 internal wastegate rear housing (not the ford one, this housing retails for $650) Was on a twin turbo v8 setup but the guy removed them to upgrade to bigger not long after it was tuned. 706451-5015 is the tag on the turbo. there is NO shaft play at all - same like a brand new turbo. Looking for $1000 for the turbo. Set of 2 rear king springs for R33 GTST, used in good condition. $70 + post Cusco Zero1 coil overs, in great condition. 8kg and 10kg springs. They were removed from the car because they were too stiff for me for a street car. Selling for $600 Z32 ECU modified to run on R33 Rb25DET with bran new nistune board installed $550 can post anything at buyers cost. May be interested to swap the turbo for a bolt on turbo for rb25 that can make 270kw at wheels.+
  8. they are too hard for me.. i replaced them with some kyb shocks and whiteline springs and i am happy... will sell for $600 pickup.
  9. made me smile... but I am not suprised yavus is on the same page as me. the guy is a professor and has been for a very very long time. hmmm that reminds me I should pay him a visit soon.. its been a while.
  10. all i can say is that there are too many variables. sooo many that the info in this thread is just all bananas. every car, every engine is different. you just gotta read the engine, then give it what it needs to get what you want.
  11. got a re-coed head in newcastle. rb25det. ready to go. $500
  12. iruvyouskyrine... you seem to be tuned on the correct frequency when it detonated pretty hard a few posts back.. lol
  13. yes. the z32 ecu can be tuned with a emulator. i was just emulating one 10 minutes ago. use the file Z32_FOR_RB25_41P03_MT_v2 in the nistune rom pack in the type 2 folder but how are you going to plug the z32 ecu into the neo loom? are you going to re-wire the ecu completly ? let me know if you need any help.. ive done quite a few of these. my skype is anthonye1978 www.facebook.com/tunedbyanthony cheers
  14. Time for some updates!!! So basically the isssues started when I quit my job. The workshop where I was working at had 2 partners, and they had a major falling out, and as you can understand when the shit hits the fan there, it happens in a extreme way... (just watch the news) The guy who hired me and brought me into the country had nothing to do with the shop anymore and things started going down hill, so i decided i did not want anything to do with the place anymore and wrote my letter and resigned. So since then and now I have been around a bit in the whole UAE, i looked at tuning at one of the biggest workshops in the country and spent some time there but I found that the grass is NOT greener on the other side. I was warned by many people not to trust them and be careful, but the advice i was given from my original sponsor really stuck in my head... But I did stray a little and I did go to other shops, one of them... this shop is just something, it has 2 Dyno's, one motorbike dyno and tuner who tunes bikes, and a Dyno Dynamics 4wd dyno where an Aussie tuner from QLD was tuning before. but he left and they were looking for someone to take his place. The showroom was something, they would have had a million $ + worth of stock just sitting around in this shop, I remember the look on the Dirt mans face when i took him there to have a look, he said he has never seen anything like it in his life. We are talking hundreds of forge pistons sets in stock, hundreds of rods, oil pumps, ecu's, fittings and cams and blocks and heads and valve springs and gaskets and oil pumps and fuel pumps and manifolds.... everything that you can imagine.... Money is no problem for these guys... They have a big engine room / machine shop in house and 2 Dyno cells, and fully functioning body repair shop and full mechanical workshop / fabrication shop. Everything you need to do and could want to do with cars could be done in the one stop. I tuned quite a few cars in this place, and well it was quite an experience. The shop was in Dubai which is about 50 minutes drive from my house down the Dubai express way which was not too bad at all. A couple of cars that I tuned there that i will share with you, R35 GTR, with a Haltech ecu... This was a stockish R35, nothing special.... but it was my first 35 that I have tuned with a haltech. Tuning this GTR was not hard to be honest, they are just like any other car with an aftermarket ecu and was easy to get power out of. The previous tuner at the shop came in for a visit and we became friends, the guy is like my hero, sure the tunes he has done that I have seen are not something to be desired but the whole point of it being is that he had the good reputation and even if he pumped out a SHIT HOUSE tune because he is having a bad day or he is just robbing everyone for a quick tune (whatever the reason) everyone would still come back to him for more, and this put money in his pocket. at the end of the day when you look past the "he can tune he cannot tune" side of things and you see this........ (Yes he could pump out good tunes and good work and spend some time on the cars but why do you have to do that when you don't have to ??? so who cares if you can tune better then someone else in this country, its all about being the best bullshit artist and telling customers what they want to hear and this was a new way of thinking for me which has been very very hard for me adapt / accept. The next car il post up was another Nissan patrol, this one was not tooo much different from the other Nissans i have done in the past, Motec ecu and CDI but this one had a gt55 turbocharger. it was pushing about 1200+ hp at wheels on race gas. the setup did need some work and i could have got it to over 1400hp but whats the point ? the customer was happy with what we got from it. Tuning this car was nothing new to me as i been doing these patrols / land cruisers for quite a while.... it did run a shitload of boost (close to 40psi from what i can remember) and it was setup quite good except for some boost control issues which could have been easily fixed. Watching this car drive up the road was something, it was one of the rare cars that had a transmission upgrade and that meant that it did not smash the gearbox to pieces on the first test run... sounds funny but there would have been 20 + cars that I have tuned that have blown the gearbox on the first run outside the front of the workshop but this one lived because it had a PPG gear set from back home installed I guess they leave the gearbox to the last modification because they do not usually blow on the dyno ! So that will do for now..... Will have some more for you guys very soon i promise! Anthony www.facebook.com/tunedbyanthony
  15. aint the KAI the bush bearing setup ? the SPL is the BB one.
  16. i am not sure of the spring rates... how do you find out ? they are HARD..
  17. yeah, well you could be right... you could have damaged a ring land and then when tuning it the damage could have got worse. just make sure everything is okay on your next rebuild.... and 25 bottom ends are not that hard to find.. many people are doing twin cam rb30 conversions.
  18. firstly you need to work out why the engine failed. because if you rebuild the engine the issue might still be there and carry on to give you the same result on the next engine. Engines dont break just for the hell of it. I would be looking at your Five 0 injectors.... id be getting them flow tested and see if they are working correctly then move on from there. just grab some cheap replacement cast pistons, you are only after 300kw so no need for forgies. good luck,
  19. got a set of coil overs for my car i want to sell i took them out because they were too stiff for my street needs. they will be perfect for the track / drift / street setup. these retail for over 2 grand, and they are in very good condition. willing to sell for $750 located in Newcastle NSW
  20. I got 4 splitfire coil packs for a RB25DET NEO R34 2 of them burnt out so selling the others to someone who may have had the same issue for only $75 each + post saves you buying a whole set like we had to. post is only about $15
  21. Looking for a bolt on turbo for a R33 RB25DET. let me know what you got, must be bolt on with minimal to no mods needed, and must take the standard dump configuration. turbo must be in good working condition, after a max power of 300kw and min 250kw cheers
