  1. I'd say yes. Just need the bolts. Front would be the same, just need the attachment hardware.
  2. Spooted R34GTR bayside blue in Castlehill, sounded nice then, Spotted silver 32GTR on Windsor floodway rd this arvo, got a wave, neat car!
  3. That's a good explanation on roll centres and adverse effects. I for one would like to lower my 34 about 25mm all round, but I like the way the car handles at stock height. It seems to sit quite flat on corners on standard v spec setup. I'm just hoping that it won't be affected handling wise too much, and then have to get uprated sway bars too. My 32GTR had camber kits, stiffer swaybars and tein ss and wasn't too low, but it was harder to setup, to actually handle mostly due to the changed suspension geometry (rollcentres). I don't want to go down this path again lol.
  4. Spotted Tangents going into the RAAF base this arvo lol
  5. Welcome to the forums John. Pics?
  6. Yep for bigger butts lolz. The headlights were wired up differently too for Aus delivered GTR's..... So that when high beam was selected, low beam would stay on. 70% sure on that one. Can anyone clarify?
  7. White?? mate has a white vspec I
  8. You know? the 350,00km wrecker bottom ends that get an RB25 head whacked on.....lolz!!! Cheap as chips!! Now if i could just get around to putting in an RB30DETT in the 34.....
  9. Aus delivered R32GTR's had some things and different stuff, such as: 260KM dash no speed limiter? small rubber aerial on the roof near the rear windscreen tail light wiring setup was different and indicators at the back were orange lens 20mm wider front seats transfercase oil cooler and electric pump number plate bracket wider and rear bar number plate recess wider to fit aus plates side intrusion bars. Thats all I can remember, there is probably more. Also from around 1992 for JDM models headlights were a little different to earlier ones (parker light diffuser removed), side intrusion bars became standard and thats part of the reason why later GTR's were heavier than the 1989-1991 GTR's.
  10. Yesterday spotted: Black 34GT-T on the M4 R35GTR gunmetal coloured heading homebush way. White R33GTS-T on Windsor Rd.
  11. Running sweet now? Good to hear! I also had my car tuned there before and after I built it and he's a top bloke, knows his stuff.
  12. RB25 and 26 boxes should be, the RB20 won't as it's a different gbox, more like an SR/ RB30E box. 25 and 26 shifter has a bigger plastic end bushing that slots into the shift rod. The RB20 shifter uses the smaller style plastic bush.
  13. No probs guys and thanks for coming along! Some great pics too!
  14. Did the same when I got a hold of a stock airbox a while back! Told one of the guys the other day so yeah, great post!
  15. Some one can take my spot as my plans have changed. Please take me off the list. Pm to buy my spot!
  16. Let us know how much they are nick Fitted up the alpine x types in the front door today, and bitumen deadener, then it rained so I still have to do the passenger side. That's not my fully sik scubie by the way! Headunit hopefully this week. Come on tax refund!!
  17. From my project thread: The 2860-9's are what I'd thought they'd be like . Great response, meaty mid range and revs out nicely. It's running at 17psi, 1.2BAR on gauge is maxed out lol, injectors are at 90% and knock has a peak of 22, yet to be tuned but runs great. In 6th gear I see 0.8bar, 12 PSI at 3000RPM. The way it comes on boost is impressive considering the stock cams, manifolds etc. The engine had cam gears already fitted so I haven't touched them. Pulling out of corners, it just accelerates, so no real problem being in a higher gear too. So I rate the -9's! just my opinion, and I have had 2 RB26's and 5 different sets of turbo's to compare with over 6 years.
  18. Great day guys, 5 GTRs and one 473RWHP supra lol. The weather was good and food was good too.
  19. One is the stock bar and one is the nismo front bar, easy.
  20. Cool, even if you drop by and say hi it's all good. Bit foggy here at the moment but will clear up later. Don't forget warm clothes etc!!! you have been warned lolz. Even though getting out of a nice warm bed was a struggle, I did.
  21. See ya's tomorrow morning!! Weather: mostly fine 18 degrees!
  22. Is that the combined washer/catchcan? if so sounds good! Got brakes back from being machined, on a lathe this time and they are better for street now, smooth, but high speed stop or heat in them still makes em shake a bit, so new rotors will be on the list I think. one is looking like it's had a better life. Just took the car for a drive and it's been great! Getrag 6speed is noisier at idle and taking off but thats due to the flywheel, no more dual mass. The 2860-9's are what I'd thought they'd be like . Great response, meaty mid range and revs out nicely. It's running at 17psi, 1.2BAR on gauge is maxed out lol, injectors are at 90% and knock has a peak of 22, yet to be tuned but runs great. 23. I'll buy a ticket!
