  1. G'day, Since I have no luck in finding stock airbox for R32 RB20DET to replace the pod fitler (without having to wait 10 days for nissan to get 1 from japan). My friend suggested RB30 airbox thinking it would fit in R32, my question is, would RB30 airbox fit on R32? Or other airbox that would bolt on as well? The reason I'm asking is, the 32 i'm buying has FMIC and oil based Pod fitler, in Victoria it's a no-no. Cheers Grant
  2. Ok, thanks for answering my question quickly. Cheers Grant
  3. G'day guys and gals, Have anyone used BMC carbon airbox along with aftermarket FMIC? Would i get away with 1 intake mod rule or not? I'd like to know this before i decide whether to buy it or not. Cheers Grant
  4. This applies to new drivers (p-platers) after 1st of July, p-plater who have their licence before 1st of July are excluded from this rule.
  5. Anyone want a (or some) magazines? I could go to my local post office to find out how much is the postage roughly (to each major cities) if you want me to. Up you go!

  7. You could find out if you call the number posted above.
  8. Nissan Patrol? it's dirty cheap nowdays, you could turbo it and see it fly, see this for example: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=148705 Buy 3l verison, drop the motor off vl turbo after these who has spent loads and see if it is faster than 32 gtst. If 4.2ltr, you could pick 1 with lpg and use lpg mixer to fuel it no ecu needed, boost it to 10 psi and enjoy. Post up if he decides to do the cheap sleeper project. Cheers
  9. Some TAFE do offer short course about maintanence/mechanic, you just need to ask local TAFE for short course book, best ring around and ask. It's often short course runs at night time, some courses do runs on Saturday, depending on which TAFE that offers. I can't comment on how benefical these courses do as, I haven't done these myself (got few mechanic friends), maybe a good idea to do if you're not very confident working on your car or something along with these lines. The other option is, if your friend, knows his/her way around cars so him/her could teach you on the 'free time' Good luck.
  10. Hey again, thanks for the answers. That must be unique colour as i haven't seen this colour before. Cheers Grant
  11. SMR33, Thanks for your time, to finding out this VIN for me. Just 1 question, the colour is WK1, what colour is it? White? Cheers Grant
  12. Hey, Could you check the VIN, ECR33104817, with all the details. It's R33 GTST 4dr manual series 2. I'd like to know it soon Cheers Grant
  13. Hey, Any one of you could look at this vin number for me? With all details, I'd like to know ASAP. ECR33104817 Thanks in advance Grant
  14. Hey guys, There is a 33 GTST that I'm seriously interested at buying, to pass RWC i'll need stock BOV. I can't seem to find 1 (probably it's just me) Will RB20 bov bolt on RB25? If so, will it work as well as factory RB25? Thats all from me for now. Cheers Grant
  15. What gearset was used? 320 km/h @ 4th gear right? Top vids!
  16. How much if it were to be straight sale, without all audio stuff? PM me if you prefer Cheers Grant
  17. There is other 1 but briefly, it is volume 26 which includes Car soccer with 5 of drifters vs 5 of tuners worth a look if you want some laughs these option guys always provide.
  18. Ditto, Go for GQ Patrol they're cheap as chips nowdays, you could pick up 1 for 2-3k (petrol verison, diesel are more than that due to demand) and spend the change on gtr or turbo it. GQ Patrol makes excellent towing machine if Petrol, go for 4.2l or find a 3l and turbo it, Diesel, 4.2l is sluggish unless it has aftermarket turbo, and one last thing, don't get 2.8td, slow pos you won't like it when towing!
  19. This V35 or G35 looks quite nice.
  20. Bass Junky, Did you get the PM i sent earlier? If so, please reply soon as possible. Cheers
  21. Hey, Is the event open to public for free or admission (regering to Essendon airport and Sandown)? And good luck to these who entered the event, should be fun!
  22. What about Mornington Peninsula, there is plenty of good roads to check out, just look at whereis.com maps. The good road is around the Arthurs Seat, should be good to test the handling of VE SS. EDIT: Check out Bittern-Dromana Road, if you want some hairy action to test the electric aids...
  23. Ditto... MNP S3 R33 GT-R is sure one sexy beast, but that's me... If you want good GT-R, just find one that is in good condition throughtfully whether if it's R32 or R33. If you want to run on rwd, you could get 2WD/4WD switch thingy, it should work on all model of GT-R (correct me wrong if so). It's your money, choice and taste, you decide which 1 to choose for, just do what everyone suggested for the ownership of the mighty GT-R. Cheers Grant
  24. Yeah, if you got $$$ to get the one of Mines GT-R, then do it. But you're better off selling your n/a to get turbo or GT-R in end of the day.
