  1. I got mine from the Gold Coast, and had it trucked over in a closed container. I had no dramas, except that the people that owned the place were damned rude
  2. By the way ... he got quoted by a place in Perth .... $1500 to do the compliance work Go figure
  3. My brother imported a car this year Did the compliance himself and it cost him $130 plus pit fees ($130 for inspection) Don't take it somewhere to get complied as they'll rip you another ring
  4. dave are you gonna keep the car now?
  5. devil_13: lucky fella
  6. chaos: yeah mate I think they were rolled in Japan so I guess that would help also mine is a gts4 so I think I have GTR offset ...
  7. Mate I've got 17x8" rims on my 32 Also got 255/50 rubber all round and it fits nicely 18" won't make any difference though Should be fine!
  8. No worries guys I'm in no hurry to sell though as a mate of mine with a Soarer has offered me the $450, but not till he gets back from overseas which is going to be late march. I'll only sell if I get 450 but as I say I'm in no great need to part with it Unwiring and re-wiring the SAFC and SAFC2 is a piece of piss
  9. I have mine for sale if anyone wants it $450 SAFC II
  10. Yeah I spoke to Steve at the drags the other night and told him I'd pop in one Saturday morning to check it out. Dan, I'll have to have a chat with you soon mate and you can tell me bout your remap Not to mention take me for a drive
  11. Very nice looking car mate good luck with the sale
  12. Paul that's what I want to know dude ... why would you go the Wolf over the remap? Like what more will I get out of it? I only originally thought of the Link coz the NZ guys use it and like it
  13. How does the Wolf compare to remapping the stock ECU then? I mean apart from the "wanky" features that you can get such as rotational idle, are there benefits of a Wolf3D above a remapped ECU? I haven't finished my mods yet, but I think once you have a remapped ECU you only pay for dyno time later to retune it?
  14. taking the dash out is easy man i can get the instrument cluster and dash out in about 10 minutes
  15. Oh well damn that puts a whole new spin on things :headspin:
  16. $600 would be about right if you were getting in/ex cam gears, and one cam. I would have thought $600 is sexcellent if you're getting both cams! On Nengun at the moment you can get a Trust plenum for around $920, seeing as the yen is so shite against the dollar at the moment. So that's $920 plus shipping plus a throttle body, which I have no idea on cost.
  17. Rob what did you run out of interest?
  18. OK cool cheers for that dude
  19. So the Link doesn't have features that a remap couldn't provide?
  20. What do you guys reckon of Link computers for R32s? I know quite a few New Zealand guys use them and seem to like them. Which would be better between a Link computer and a remap for an R32 RB20DET with FMIC, full exhaust, T04E, external gate, bigger injectors etc etc Cheers
  21. I think Tillbrooks would know what they're doing with regards the tuning Who cares if he's got shit AFR's ... he's still making more power than you
  22. Riaz I thought ur R33 was white dude? Musta got another one since I saw you last!
  23. :bs!:
  24. Mine has 140k on the clock
  25. I'm sorry but I'm with IMACUL8 here too I mean c'mon get a life it's just a car Some people are just way too obsessed about cars
