What Ken said I don't think I could handle the sleepless nights wondering whether or not the 15 grand I just spent in Japan is going to be on the road next year or in another 5 years time. My personal opinion is that it's not worth the risk spending the money and buying a 32 GTR that could sit in Japan for the next few years, pending the government's decisions. Dude if you love the 32 GTRs that much ... buy one that's already here .. .such as one of Ken's. Much more security and piece of mind.

What do anti-lift kits do? If I install one on my car, will it help keep the front of the car down during a launch and therefore more traction on the front wheels?

dude i saw ur car at ross' today i should have got a photo both our cars were up on the hoists next to each other i got my clutch looked at, and bled. apparently my clutch is about to give up the ghost. ahhh well ... looks like i'll have to get one of those ross specials soon hehehe

1.6m at the start is the same as 1.6m at the end, and would make bugger all difference to the 1/4 time. At 104mph, or 46m/sec, 1.6m extra track would add an extra 0.035s .... which at 14.18s would give you 14.14s quarter mile. :uh-huh:

Well yeah, obviously But what I originally meant was, are our cars going to depreciate at a previously "unreasonable" level. For example might an 18k R32 drop in price to 12k by the end of the year instead of to, say, 15k.

Yeah I'm not sure but that's what I'm thinking ... the engine has to be at least as new as the car. Ahh well cheers for the help guys I'll call and engineer to make sure!
