I parked my car in the garage last night, and just then I tried starting it. The stereo comes on, the fuel pump primes, all the dash lights come on ... but it hasn't got enough battery charge to kick the engine over :confused: I didn't leave my lights on overnight, or the interior light or anything. Do I need a new battery? Could it be the alternator? This has happened a few times now, and I just keep recharging the battery.

I was told today there's an SAFC on silviawa for $400 I assume it's a blue screen www.silviawa.com

I havent read most of this thread, because its long but ... if you have 400k then why don't you buy two apartments? or units/townhouses/whatever in Perth at the moment, 200k will get you an alright-ish unit. Not sure about other cities. But then if you have cheaper units or townhouses, and try and get them in trendy-ish areas, you can aim them at the young executive market. I rented one such unit last year ... I think they sold it when I moved out for around 240k. The owners had only bought it about a year and a half/two years earlier for 200k. I'd do that I reckon. Then after a year you could refinance your mortgage, and get your R34

What about a shift kit? A B&M shifter like what the V8 boys use Could you use one of those on a turbo?

When I turn the key to prime the fuel pump, the pump whirrs etc but I get a funny knocking sort of sound, which appears to be coming from the engine. Only seems to happen when the car is cold. Has anyone else had this on their car? It's quite loud

G'day guys, I know this is a very repetative topic "whats the max boost I can run?!?" but I've heard that R33 Series 2s have plastic compressor wheels ... and my friend is wondering how much boost he can run :confused: He only has a catback zorst and the bleed valve Should he just set it at 10-11psi?
