  1. What do you have for them to tune ? If you had an SAFC then that would modify the AFM signal going to the ECU. It's the AFM signal maxing out that causes the boost cut issue.
  2. If there is sufficient interest from SAUWA members then we'll happily put on a SAUWA display. So a show of hands from people who can definately make it, who's cars will be ready for the date, who has the money to pay for the entry, and who is/will be SAUWA Members.
  3. Whilst the GTR pumps are more than capable flow wise, I'm always loathe to use something like that 2nd hand, as they are a part they needs replacing after time.
  4. Boost cut occurs when the AFM's max's out, normally this occurs if you wind extra boost into the car, which equates to more air flow. But it can obviously also occur if you have a boost leak, as to get your 10psi with a leak the turbo will be pushing alot more air through. Shouldn't have anything to do with the ECU.
  5. As suggested wind back the boost and confirm it doesn't do it.
  6. Are you sure it's boost cut, and not plug break-down ?
  7. Any of the Bosch in-tank pumps will be fine if you have minimal mods. The 044 is an external mount, so not really the best option. The 040 would be my choice of the Bosch's, or the Walbro 255LPH pump http://boschfuelpumps.com/
  8. Disconnect the CAS, then they'll never get it out of the driveway
  9. If I'm not working then I'll be there, if I am working then I'll donate some $$ anyway
  10. Chris, I'll PM you Steve May's email, as he isn't on SAU all the time, he may respond quicker to that.
  11. Chris, Steve May (Mr Mayhem) has a DR30, and I'm sure he knows how to make it do all those things, maybe drop him a PM. Ant at Xspeed has built a number of FJ engines. If there a similar suspension platform to the R31 then Bart (DSTURBD) might be worth a call.
  12. Yep, not worth the hassle of changing it all over IMHO. Much better off getting some aftermarket stuff.
  13. Rebuild costs between GTS-t's and GTR's are pretty much the same, as they use almost the exact same parts.
  14. You have a valid concern, as the illegal asian sex workers are likely to send all the money back to there familys overseas. I recommend the government certifies brothels as "100% Australians Whores", so we know our money is going striaght back into our economy
  15. Simple answer is, if your mates not happy with it, then take it elsewhere, but as has been pointed out, there are some obvious issues highlighted from the dyno graph. The guys here can only tell you there opinions from one dyno graph, there are so many factors that are not known that you can't pinpoint whether it's the car or the tuner.
  16. Your 100% right, it's passed so let's hope the majority of people spend it on things that will benefit the australian economy and not just send it straight overseas. Australian services like brothels are something we should all support
  17. And that's why he needs the money
  18. In addition, the plugs I use (NGK copper Plugs) BCP6ES, can come with a -11 (which means 1.1mm gap) or without an number, which comes pre-gapped to 0.8mm. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ng...6es-t41035.html
  19. 1. Buy a set of Feeler guages, from Repco/Supercheap etc, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feeler_gauge 2. select 0.8mm worth of inserts 3. Insert between the gap 4, gently tap the plug side electrode on a smooth surface until it closes the gap to the center electrode. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spark_plugs
  20. Takushi, That's not what you said, but whatever. sx, In summary: skimming is cheap, but is only an option if you have enough material left, otherwise new rotors are on the cards.
  21. Spending it on what ?
  22. Haha, that would be great, the government giving everyone vouchers which must be spent on performance mods
  23. If you want an option that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg, then drop in an R34 GTR engine, that will get you up and running quickly, rebuilds will take months and cost $$$.
  24. I doubt anyone would say we don't need the government to provide some form of economic stimulus, the debate is about the makeup of the stimulus package.
  25. Obviously it's not aimed at the long-term unemployed as they wouldn't need to do a tax return, which is one of the requirements of the handout. But as you can see by the above repsonses as to what people will spend the money on (savings, buying parts from overseas) then I'd suggest less than 50% of the money will make it into the Aussie economy, and of that it will appear as a momentary blip, and won't create any long-term jobs.
