  1. Plenty of bolt-on options. http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/category12_1.htm
  2. Post some pics so we know what kit your talking about
  3. Don't forget to tell them your a SAUWA member, they'll look after you real good, maybe a massage
  4. Yep http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/He...WTO-t32611.html Apparently a replacement heater core isn't that expensive
  5. Tenegah amongst other in the Consolidated Workshop Thread, will be more than capableof doing all those jobs. I've used Tenegah and found them to be really great to deal with, but as always there are plenty of opinions as to who is the best.
  6. It's easy enough to bypass, but that will still leave a fair bit of water in the core already, and you want to be careful it doesn't lead to ruting your passenger footwell.
  7. Yep, almost positive it's your heater core, it's a common problem. If you do a search there is a tutorial on how to remove the heater core, it's a prick of a job, but can be done in a day. Problem is finding a 2nd hand replacement core, or putting up with no heating
  8. Pretty sure I didn't cut the rear seat belts, only the fronts
  9. Not sure if the R34 ones are the same as the R33 ones, but if they are I should have a couple at home from after stripping the car out.
  10. I wouldn't be buying an import unless you have a good job, there not cheap to run.
  11. For a streetable clutch it's hard to go past the Exeddy's.
  12. I can't wait to have cruises with the police along pretending there undercover I hope they can keep up
  13. And in reality, I'm stuck in Karratha for New Years. Well not even Karratha, in a camp 40mins from Karratha, and I'm on call, so I can't even have a drink tonight. Yay for me
  14. Matt, Is that the "Sex Party" I heard so much about ? Is Dan trying to beat his own record again ?
  15. Nathan, My gearbox has been through hell and more, has been whining for ages and I still manage to get it around the track ok. The 25 boxes are extremely strong. Having said that, I have a new box with a 5sp OS Gearset in it, will be nice to drive a quiet gearbox again
  16. Yep, that's right, but if you have more power then the RB20 boxes don't last. I know someone who went through 7 of them.
  17. Tom, Be careful with some of these so called "racing" nuts, there made of a soft alloy, and strip easily. They may looks pretty but I've had some bad experiences with them.
  18. Hi Sam, Welcome to the Forums, Post some pics of your car
  19. RB25 box is much better, but about $1200-1500.
  20. Just buy another g-box, there realtively cheap, cost to rebuild isn't
  21. Chi, As pointed out, the PowerFC does not self-learn. It's quite surprising that it even idles that well to be honest. Get it towed to a tuner and then let us know the results. Cheers Paul
  22. Not sure if rebuilding a non-performance engine necessarily translates into building a performance engine, but I guess it couldn't hurt. Seems like a waste of time and money though. Why not buy Bart (DSTURBD) a case of Wild the sphincter of the universe, and he may be able to help you out
  23. The way I rebuild and engine is to send it to a mechanic who knows what there doing I'm sure it can't be that hard, but if you stuff any one bit up then it can end in tears. If your not chasing big power, then I'd simply buy a low km's Neo engine.
  24. Did it last year, won't be doing it this year.
  25. Yep, I used to do my 33 in about 20-30mins all up, I'd say 3-4times longer for a 34. It's a real prick of a job, but over a few beers it wouldn't seem so bad
