  1. I think the confusion in weight comes from the dry weight versus the wet weight. 1390kgs is the dry weight, no fluids. Fill the tank, oil, radiator etc and it get's you to the 1470kg mark. A good tip when drag racing is not to fill the tank, even the extra 40-50kgs, spare tyre etc can make a difference to the ET.
  2. Almost stock R32 GTR's have done high 12's, so who's driving the R34 It's all about 60' times, if you can get your car to hook up properly with a sub 2.0 60', then your in with a shot of a decent ET. The MPH on a stock Skyline is pretty low.
  3. WA has enough sub-forums as it is, the car sub-forums like the Stagea/Cefiro/V-Series are shared amongst all the states, and it's plenty easy to organise meetings for just WA people through that. The Stagea guys do it all the time
  4. The quickest time I've seen with a completely stock R33 is 13.4, and I've seen high 12's with mods but stock turbo. Weight of an R33 is around 1470kgs, so with lighter weight you could expect better results, assuming you can get traction etc.
  5. Adam, The plenum spacer kit arrived in the post yesterday. I won't have a chance to fit it for about a week as I'm off to site, but thanks for the prompt and professional service
  6. Chris, Be sure to let us know the answer, as there may be other people with other combo's that will be interested if there is a wire-in option.
  7. AutoWorx a SAUWA Sponsor Has this thread VIPEC ECU It doesn't specifically mention whether they do the FJ's, but I'm sure you'll get a prompt repsonse. These ECU's do seem to be gaining themselves a good reputation. Cheers Paul
  8. I should be able to make this cruise, just have to figure out what car to go in
  9. Thanks Adam, got you email, will send one back to organise payment etc. Cheers
  10. Last post was in 2003, till now. Doubt there still looking to buy a Skyline, unless they've been waiting 6 years
  11. 999automotive, Interested in one of these kits for a 2004 350Z, can you PM or email me a price, including delivery to Perth ? [email protected] Cheers Paul
  12. We have alot less slang than the UK, just have to get used to a few new words This might help http://www.aussieslang.com/
  13. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_burner The only people who use that term are bogans, another word you may want to look up
  14. Personally I wouldn't waste the money on a sunroof, but if you keen for one then try these guys http://www.prestigesunroofswa.com.au/
  15. I doubt it's going to lean out by doing more mods mate, you'll need to buy an SAFC or aftermarket ECU to let you adjust the fuel, otherwise just live with it. The stock ECU will add extra fule to make everything safe.
  16. Hi mate, Tenagah are offering Power Runs for $50, get it on the dyno so they can measure the air fuel ratio. Most Skylines run rich with the stock ECU
  17. I can't see why removing the glass from an R34 GTR would be any harder than an R33, and I did that when the Mrs window got broken. Remove all the door trim and it's pretty obvious.
  18. http://www.blitz.co.jp/Operation-manual/electonic/sbc_dc.pdf Most likely you could use one of the free translaters to get it in english
  19. Yes, well you are a noob, so I don't expect much from you
  20. That's why I suggested it was more likely plug breakdown, which re-gapping the plugs should prove.
  21. Fouling is caused by overfueling, which is what will happen now that you have the SAFC removed. If you had the SAFC you could have increased the boost, and then got the SAFC retuned to keep the AFR's all good. I agree with MonkeyBoy, get the NGK BCP6ES copper plugs, there cheap, come gapped at 0.8mm and means you won't wreck the platinums if that isnt the real problem.
  22. Dude, I'm not going to slag your brother off, just saying he was wrong. If you don't get somethign for them to tune, then you may well be wasting your money on the dyno tune, as all they'll be able to do is wind back the boost controller till it stops hitting boost cut.
  23. Dude, will all due respect, your brother doesn't know what he's talking about.
  24. Umm, why ? You'll need the SAFC if your planning on making more mods etc. Any more than 10-11psi will see you hitting boost cut otherwise.
