  1. Yeah, must be hard for Stagea owners to find friends If you bought a Skyline you'd have no troubles Both cars look nice
  2. Yes, they are doing both, but the handout to individuals is a waste of money (billions of $), and seems more like a vote buying exercise than anything. Sure, who doesn't like getting given money, but $900 doesn't go far if your out of work.
  3. Umm, sorry, but your wrong, and obviously don't know much about brakes Skimming is fine, but if you have the $$$ get new discs.
  4. That's the sensible thing to do with money, but it's not going to stimulate the economy, hence the reason giving it to most people is a waste of good money. paulr33, I understand the idea behind the handout, however I don't believe that this small amount of money to many individual's is really going to do much in the way of stimulating the economy. I'd much rather the money went into capital works projects, where jobs will be created and the Australian people will get somethign worthwhile at the end of it.
  5. $900 if <$80k $600 if <$90k $250 if <$100k. I won't get any of this money, and I think it's a complete waste of taxpayers money, and won't create any additional jobs. It should be targetted at the people who need it, and at job creation, rather than a handout to all.
  6. Yep, nothign wrong with skimming, they won't skim them if there under the minimum recommended thickness, so can't really do it more than once per set.
  7. Welcome to the SAU forums. Seem the Adelaide Stagea guys are planning a meet, I'm sure you'd be welcome to join them, and they'll know where the best places to find your own http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ad...et-t256997.html
  8. The high point of the power graph is certainly high, but the average power (area under the graph) isn't.
  9. The graph doesn't show boost pressure, and at that power the standard internals won't last long
  10. There a SAUWA Sponsor, and a great bunch of guys. You'll have no drama's dealing with them
  11. Don't make statements without explaining any of the facts. Mr Gazza, Chris had the SuperCharger on his V35, was a very neat install, looked like stock
  12. Mr Gazza, I personally wouldn't rely on what Stillen post on the internet, go talk to one of the tuning shops that have supercharged a Zed (C-red or Xspeed) and they'll have alot more useful info of what is required. I agree with Autoworx that the VQ35 isn't a strong internal engine, unlike the VQ30, so don't chsae too much power. Cheers Paul
  13. Mr Gazza, As part of the HKS kit, both the fuel pump and injectors are upgraded, as there isn't much additional headroom in them. You'll also need something to control the fuel/timing as the stock computer won't handle the changes well.
  14. Not the worst I've seen, but still pretty bad. Ringlands in the RB26 are much stronger than the RB25, so much have had something else happen for there to be that much damage.
  15. I see you have a shiny new membership tag
  16. Chris, This sounds like fun, I should be in
  17. PM Dan_the_man, he can give you the Members tag and allow you access to the Members area, and a membership pack will be sent out in the next 2weeks
  18. The load on a dyno compared to the load on the road is different, so I'm sure it wouldn't have been hitting the "Check Engine light" knock limit whilst they were tuning it. Once the timing is taken out then you shouldn't have many issues. Personally I'd throw away your platinum plugs and put in BCP6ES plugs, and gap them down to 0.8m or even less depending on boost.
  19. He sold it as he was too embarrased driving a Magna
  20. Ok, thread is up in the members section, start submitting your dyno graphs
  21. What do you mean the SAUWA Rides thread is messy ? I keep it cleaned of all useless posts. Ok, I'll start a new thread now for SAUWA Power Figures
  22. My favourite bit of the article At the end of the day it's great if they get some bad drivers off the street, but I'd rather they targeted repeat offenders of theft, rape, murder etc
  23. Eww, that's wrong..... but I think Dan_the_man will take one for SAUWA
  24. Not sure if we can afford a paddle pop
  25. Geez Bubba, we'll have to get you on the Committee as the Member Liason Officer
