anyway, put my RB20DETT R31 2 door on the dyno, for a full tune and bumping up the boost. Got 182rwkw @ 7000rpm on 13psi of boost in 5th gear. Dyno wasn't a dyno dynamics and this dyno was known to read lower than dyno dynamics dynos so meh.

I'm running an RB20DETT setup at the moment using twin T28 turbos. Lag, well, very considerable. At 9psi, i was hitting full boost at around 4500-5000rpm, now im running 13psi boost and making peak power at 7000rpm... i GUARANTEE you you will NOT make 280rwkw without some serious headwork and bottom end work, not on an RB20 anyway. As for manifolds, im using RB26 ones, just using a custom fabricated adaptor/spacer plate blah blah blah, allot of custom stuff

might get in shit from the park rangers though. Boat harbour in kurnell looks ok, saw plenty of whiting last time i was there, good eating fish. You can also get lobsters etc there. And because it's a harbour, well, you can fish the entrace of the harbour and go fishing off the rocks too. Other than that i don't know any heaps good fishing spots in sydney, i'd love to though cos i haven't been fishing in ages and wanna do some again.

lol, would be interesting though, show them all what a REAL modified car is not a bloody snow plough on chrome rims with big subs

i have an adaptor/spacer plate/plates on my RB20 to allow me to use the RB26 exhaust manifolds along with the twin turbo setup it's doable, just depends on how much patience you have and how deep your pockets are (might not even be that expensive anymore, or for the RB25 anyway)

110 degrees? my normal operating temperature is around 80 degrees... wouldn't those temperatures cause your water+coolant to start boiling?

i wish i was as rich as you i have a erm, major prollem. Major overheating, coolant pissing out everywhere (went underneath to take a peak, looked like it was even coming from the bellhousing of the box, which is bloody wierd, must be trickling down from somewhere else), couldn't see any busted hoses or nething *shrugs*

get some prosheen, a lighter, and make a lil flame thrower, good fun (i did it, was fun till the bottle caught on fire). I just think it's hanging out for a kiss. Insect rex hunt anyone?

it's an ECU designed for racing, meaning to get good fuel consumption you will have to tune ALL load points, rather well too. was speaking to a mate who has an R33 with 250rwkw and a microtech and he's getting around 250km to a tank

yes, but this IS an RB20 thread Anyway, should have the money soon for a full microtech retune, dyno run and to fit bigger injectors. Currently running 9psi on the RB20 with twin T28's, full boost at around 4.5k. Going to up the boost to around 12psi, see what she does.

if it's a stock turbo i'd turn down the boost a bit

i have an LT8 on my RB20-DETT, getting around 260km to a tank, if that, handset is reading 19 on the a/f meter *shrugs* somethin is shagged that's all i know

any good spots for fishing down there? i really need to catch up, haven't gotten the rods out in ages

Spoke to the manager of the tyre shop at work, said he is willing to do a group buy on all Volk wheels in the Volk catalogue. At the moment the discount is not 100%, but it is a 10% or over discount per wheel. I think normally he sells TE37's at $650 a wheel or so (can't say as i don't work for the tyre shop).
