  4. haven't had my car tuned there, but have heard great things about ben and UAS so i certainly will be going there for a tune up, when the money presents itself ofcoarse though, lol. Needless to say, you blokes are at the top of my reccommendation list
  5. there have been cars in japan happily making 600 odd HP using an RB24 setup, even using turbos as big as T88's. Compression you've found yourself. Boost, depends really. Revs, i've heard that you will get a 9000rpm rev limit using RB26 crank and rods, could be wrong though. As for the work, im sure you can work it out yourself, look at the figures some people give (cost wise), subtract the price of parts etc, theoretically the rest should be labour.

  11. i MIGHT not be able to make it to this. Steering rack has to come out as my power steering completely shit itself on sat night. Felt a slight shudder, HICAS light came on, smoke started pouring out from under the bonnet, out from the front left wheel arch and from out the back. Steering rack just started squirting out oil =/ So it will be a mad rush to see if i can get it done by then
  12. i MAY not be able to come to this. A drama has arisen with my car at the last minute, forcing me to out the steering rack and reco it, will be tight
  13. yea i pm'd SK, he said best bet would be to do a solid lifter conversion, if you know what you are doing to do it yourself, otherwise go for an aftermarket RB20 set.

  15. actually, sorry, but you can have them on internally gated turbos makes no real difference really, probably just easier with the external gate. And, they are obscenely loud, aren't they Jeff? Anyway, just get propper dump/front pipe made with the wastegate pipe coming in after a certain length, there is a thread on this somewhere, quieter and keeps the EPA off your ass (hefty fines too, i think $15000 if you are caught, not 100% certain on this though).

  22. that's what my setup is, twin GTR turbos. Lag city mate, full boost at around 6500rpm. Ask Sproosy, he'll tell you how laggy it is Pulls like a steam train though, and has some squat in her too
  23. it does look in fairly rough condition though =/ interested in trades
  24. will the RB26 exhaust manifolds bolt onto the RB30DET if using RB26 head?
