christ, after reading all these i honestly don't know how i passed the engineers inspection or why it says what it says on the engineers certificate. My gf says she can hear me from litterally 2 blocks away, and then can hear me in her hallway, all doors and windows shut, idling about 25m infront of her place. *shrugs*

question, why? you can get gauges and sh!t that can display all the info and vitals you need. If you are serious, then invest in a motec and knock yourself out, especially with the data logging function. Personally all i'd want to know is if my engine is about to crap itself or not, and if everything is fine and dandy (e.g temp gauges, boost pressure, oil and fuel pressure etc etc)

yea i'll try and get some for you anyway, checked the voltage, was steady around 13.3v, sometimes down to 13.2, sometimes up to 13.8v

basically to make it street legal, you just have to get it engineered and register all the mods with the RTA apon registration. You will then get your rego papers saying something like: "Vehicle modified as per engineers report No: what ever your number is" And that is that. The engineer should do everything required to make it street legal. You don't need an emissions test, well, mine didn't. It came from interstate and needed a blue slip etc etc, i even have a microtech and i passed, and microtechs are notoriously ugly with emissions etc.

*shrugs* i doubt it. It runs very poorly on coldstart, i know microtechs are notorious for this, but it can't be THIS bad, i don't know, i just have my doubts, i know it can be more finely tuned, well, i have a gut feeling.

Seeing a few people on the EOI thread said go for it, i may aswell post it up, so here goes. Meet at 10am on Waratah street in Kirrawee for a 10:30am departure. Stopping off at loftus rovers soccer field (on the highway right before the nasho turnoff) to pick up any lost people/stragglers (if any, if not we push on). Then proceed through the nasho, over the new seacliff bridge (or coalcliffe bridge, what ever it's called), through all the lil suburbs and then to city beach in Wollongong to hang out, have lunch, swim, wrestle sharks, what ever. So post here if interested I will post my number closer to the date if anyone gets lost or what ever. Anyway, to get to waratah street, if you are coming from the city direction on the princess highway, turn right at the lights right after this overpass in kirrawee, there should be a caltex servo on the corner. Same deal if you are coming from the other way, cept you turn left and you don't pass the overpass, or you have gone too far.
