  3. might i suggest taking out the silencer? i didnt have the same prob as you. Stock standard i was on 154awkw. with pods, dumps/front pipe, cat and full 3" exhaust i was on 120awkw with silencer. after taking it out i jumped to 174awkw. silencers suck. it could be putting too much back pressure and keeping the heat in thus cooking the cat. my 2c.

Tried a different Nissan dealer and they say it has to come from Nissan Japan. It will take around 2 weeks and is a total of wait for it.... $189.40! Thanks for your help arbess Guys, when looking for genuine parts from Nissan, it can pay to shop around. Also having part numbers on hand along with your Japanese chassis number and model number makes life a ton easier. Cheers, Ron
  15. Will R34GTR rims fit on pats car without spacers and nicely lowered?
  16. can you confirm the part number for the "mode door actuator" this actuator controls the vents position for the climate control. head, head/feet, feet, demister etc. located on drivers side of heater box. i found 27733M. there just seams to be more needed in my opinion. 21. power steering fluid, 4wd fluid in boot, (could be air bubbles in lines or just not enough) issues with wiring, issues with hicas computer on parcel shelf, issues with speedo/speedo cable. if worse comes to worse, id find a good qualified mechanic that knows GTR's. maybe even PM sydney kid
  22. Im pretty sure but not 100% that no cutting is required. my mate was thinking about replacing his front bar with a series 2 bar cos it didnt need cutting. he didnt end up doing it cos of family stuff
  23. my best mate has a series 1 r33 with a fmic. we fitted it ourselves in an afternoon. the only thing that needed modifying was the bar itself and that was a little bit of cutting on the bottom lip and we had to disable and cut sections out of his driving lights. (just to clear the piping) it looks fairly clean as we took our time as cut carefully. if you want more power and wanna go the fmic but dont wanna cut your bar, get a series 2 bar. no cutting required
  24. this will be discussed at length with my mechanic and i will pm him this thread. thanks to all for your imput. thanks to the topic starter as a lot of questions doubts worries etc have been answered. Cheers, Ron
