  1. There nothing special, just standard nuts, go to bunnings and they should have something with the same thread pitch. If you wanna get something a little better get some nylock nuts (with the same pitch of course) instead of standard nuts.
  2. Also using 10w60 here. The higher hot rating is a little better if you do alot of track work, otherwise stick with what you have now, it's perfect.
  3. Yep next thing i'd be doing would be a computer and a tune, most people round here use PowerFC's and regardless of what people tell you APEXI do still make them and they are readily available for the Rb26. Also if you are unsure of what turbos you've got best to keep them under 1bar for the time being, as the others have said...
  4. Definatley in for this one, sent you an email kev Do it nick, you know you want to!
  5. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
  6. I'm going down the G/F's beach house in St Leonards, big family event, should be fun Spunky - You don't really wanna sand down a bar with sandpaper, will take for ever and end up fairly average, you need to use an orbital.

  10. was it just me or did nobody else pick up on the fact that the speedo said she was doing like 240km/h and accelerating and she barley had the throttle down at all, maybe like a cm or 2, doesn't work out in my book, to be doing that speed i'm pretty sure she'd have to be foot to the floor......
  11. Any auto shop should have them. They are just T10's from memory....
  12. Stock for stock, I wouldn't really call either of them a monster. There actually pretty avarage cars, they just have alot of potential. If your thinking about buying a GTR it's pretty irrelivant if it's got this or that or whatever doodad, go drive a few and see what you think, there such different cars. The 4wd is good but it isn't for everyone, just depends what you like really.

I'd say it's pretty bad considering it only cost 84,000 when he bought it from nissan the other day.......
  14. Al aka Captain Obvious P.S. I'm bored too
  15. ^ it's a conspiracy between the police at the public transport department. More defects = more money for the police More defects = more cars of the road = more people on public transport = more money for them See my theory here? P.S. Get the R34.
  16. yeh they can but makes it much easier when it comes to clearing the defect.
  17. http://www.nzperformance.co.nz/store/ I just bought some new filter elements from this place, very cheap and awesome service. One of my nest online buying experiences ever! Might be somewhere to check out?
  18. bit more information where do you get sent what do they check etc?
  19. i'll have the coil packs
  20. The roadside testing only gives you a good/fair/poor raiting, and it's only a optional thing to go get it checked out? What I am asking more is can you be sent for testing by police/qldtrans and if you fail your car is deemed unroadworthy?
  21. Do you guys have any sort of vehicle emissions/noise testing in QLD?
  22. oh and on the topic of the solenoid If you are putting the stock box back in try putting it between the box and the guard or the box and the headlights. Makes it easy to jam a bit of plastic or rubber sheet in there with it too just so it can't be seen
  23. lol thats cos you live in toowoomba Come down and spend some time in Melbourne. There are alot of cops here that know alot about modifying cars and they know all the easy things to get you for. P.S. I grew up in Toowoomba
  24. Agreed! Disagreed! Passion pop is for when you want to die
