Bowls will be much harder to check, basically have to split the housing and take the projector apart, unless you have some fancy fibre optic camera. I found Cool Blue Intense to be the right amount of blue for that 'modern' look without compromising too much on usable light. Otherwise, Philips vision (standard replacement) works great (I'm still rocking those in my first HID retrofit in my R32).

you want the brightest part of your low beam to be at the cut-off. You don't want light in front of your bumper because you can't see into the distance. How old are your bulbs? Have you inspected the projector bowls? Make sure the outer plastic lenses/covers are clear, any hazing or yellowing dramatically reduces output.

Remember you're buying a 25-30 year old car, expect things to randomly break. Also expect the wiring to be falling apart.

Doubt it, install them and see? They're like 5psi and the factory solenoid bleeds it to 8 or 12 after you remove the restrictor

What oil are you using? I suggest going to a thicker oil since engine is worn.

Mine was a GT wagooon manual. Floppy shifter but otherwise ran fine. I was rather lucky as I had zero issues with it. I found it quite a luxurious ride. As for tyres, my general rule of thumb is: 7.0" = 215 7.5" = 225 8.0" = 235 8.5" = 245 9.0" = 255 9.5" = 265 10.0" = 275 But I did put 265/35 on R34 GT-R (18x9) wheels though

Guards rolled. My car is fairly low and it does occasionally rub on the front liner on full compression, although not as bad as 275/35. I also run like -2deg camber and about 6deg castor.

18x10 +20 is the max i'd go (it's what I'm running) 285/30 looks good and fits better than 275/35 285/35 is too big IMO
