did you go to someone to have them program it to your car or?
-
I could be wrong but i'd believe so. 99% sure thats wound back. Unless you have the original import papers that tell you the kms at auction then its hard to know. You can pay for the ODO check though. its about $90usd for the full one and they supply import papers. Also reset your ECU (disconnect battery for 30 mins) then plug it back in and drive like a grandma for like 20-30km. Worked wonders for my v36 economy.

thanks @The Max I'll save this post info and see what they say. i only drive it every few weeks so im not in a rush to get the key done. just would be nice haha.
-
@The Max Any idea how to get the pin code? for the BCM or W/E If you do i can atleast give them the information to do something S:
-
They told me they didnt have some specific pin thing for the frequency needed as its not the same as 350/370z. Which i remember reading a while back that its not as easy to program a key here as people think. But if i can find a local guy who can do it for a bit of $$.. i'd rather give them the money over nissan,

its attached to the stock mounting holes underneath for the under tray plastic I scrape on my driveway anyway. doesnt do much to it. It can flex with enough pressure (cant flex with hands, thats how much pressure) without a doubt though like any aftermarket splitter it'll obtain damage. im not worried about it in the slightest because you cant see any of it.
-
Thought id share my first experience making my first DIY splitter. Im pretty happy with how it turned out to be honest. Didnt want to pay $400 + for one to be supplied from china/japan/usa so i took on the task myself Tools used - Jigsaw - Sander - Drill - Sharpie Material/Cost Aligloss (bunnings supply) $75 ebay 200mm Splitter rods $20 Time 2-2.5 Hours. Only thing left to do is go to clark rubber and pick up some U Channel rubber edging/Weathering Strip to make sure it doesnt cut anyone haha.

im hoping @Chris Rogers Can possibly help me but will make the post because i cant DM him. My car was imported in 2017 with 1 key. Found a place who can sell me an OEM programed pretty cheap. Just wondering if anyone in Brisbane can do it? Nissan (Costly i know but worth a shot) Rejected me because its an import and they cant program to the certain frequency..? Any help would be awesome.

here's your OEM number 17040-JL60A Also if youre going to sell it, probably easiest to call up a wrecker (skyline spares, nissan wrecking etc. you find them on gumtree) and purchase a fuel pump from one of their v36's. Cheap and easy fix. as much as people here may complain about using a 2nd hand one... I've done it twice and my daily is running on a 2nd hand fuel pump for years now with no dramas. cheap and easy man.

nah mean speak to Adrian @ All import wrecking at the GC. They sell VQ37's for around 1.5-2k Depending on kms. Had mates use them before. awesome pricing with warranty. Also they ship australia wide.
-
Do you mean 350GT with VQ35HR? 250Gt's were in production early 2000's. 2008 would be a v36 350GT
-
what exactly do you want to know...? -370z seats might fit but they're not all electric like a 370gt. - servicing is the exact same. All use the same parts. - 370z exhausts fit 370gt with a 12" extension to the mid pipe - 370z brakes are a direct bolt on if you don't have akebonos. If you have akebonos they're the exact same as 370z's.

Hey Bruce Here you go! (May have to repaint the shroud but this ones cheap! https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/09-10-11-12-13-Infiniti-G37-cruise-control-audio-control-switch-OEM/392184566089?hash=item5b50059149:g:jmkAAOSw175cAxnE

Dont bother. Buy the OEM controls (i bought the OEM controls for the steering wheel on here for $125) And take it to Autostrada in brisbane. Costs about $600 but they get it to work with OEM wheel controls. Here's my before and after (i replaced my OEM wheel aswell, but the OEM controls are the way to go)

Diy 370GT RHD Twin Turbo Build
DashyyPC replied to mycarhasposessedme's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Yeah i was reading the 7AT is fragile compared to the 5AT. Stock 5AT's can handle around 500whp fine as is. Depends how much power this brings out. Motor unopened will also run 450hp-500hp Safely. e85 around 11psi is fine for that power. We have a 370z in our car club running 450rwhp @6psi on 98. Never once had a mechanical issue. -
V36 speedo swap (180kph JDM to 260kph English)
DashyyPC replied to mybrains's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Theres a chance the kms are stored on the ECU itsself? Super easy to swap the clusters though. Ive taken mine off a few times to look at stuff behind the dash the LED lights etc. Just needs a tune to remove the speed limiter. -

V36 Nav And Language Swap - Faq

if you have an iphone, it wont like to connect. if youre ever in brisbane though i can get your phone connect to the OEM bluetooth system. -
Turbo charging a V35 with M35 Stagea setup
DashyyPC replied to camr33's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
@camr33 I had since looked into this as im friends with the guy who sold you the parts. Xr6T Intercooler will fit fine along with the M35 stega set up. Only a little bit of work needs to be done. Makes the DE actually look cool with a big single turbo. -
I have a spare one at home. when i get home ill get you the part number from it.
-
Lol i think he means its just the shroud without the buttons As in you dont get the literal buttons. Cutout will still be there. Also super easy to take off. Would be alot easier to take apart and Repaint/Wrap it yourself compared to buying a new one.
-
I've had steering wheels and my friend has also has 2 and none of them have ever had this scratching issue.. i find it weird that its so "common" yet we've been through 4 and never once had the issue. It doesn't come with those, you transplant those from the old wheel. Only takes 15 mins to do (super simple DIY) You actually dont really notice it. It was weird the first 3 or 4 times but you easily adjust.
-
ill message you.

I forgot to post this a few weeks ago. My car was the volunteer car for JDM Accessories parts including their new wheels. They're a fair but chunkier than stock but deffs worth the upgrade. Been running for over a month now and it's way nicer to use than stock. Would recommend for the price. This isn't a sale post. Just a recommendation incase you get the usual trash quality v36 wheel. Mention me when you purchase and he may even give you a discount
