  1. It all depends on what the application will be, mate. Put it this way, I've never seen a thread complaining about the fin design of an RB's fan.Me personally, I've found it not the smartest idea to change an oem item that's performing fine with no known design faults with an aftermarket one. Just ends up turning your car into more of a pig then it needs to be for no or very minimal gain.
  2. Apparently so. And how many times have you heard ppl complaining a standard RB fan isn't pulling enough air on a street car?
  3. Word is those GKTech ones are loud as all hell.
  4. Get in touch with Import Monster. They'll be able to get some fibreglass copies for you. They are a bit under $400 delivered. Genuine items are around $900 and apparently still available from Nissan.
  5. I'm no expert but correct me if I'm wrong, this question kinda answers itself if you think about it.It will go onto a ship. And then have to swim along on this thing we call an ocean. Hope and good will not hold it in place.
  6. Or you could get the rails repaired. My had something sharp used to take the badges @port in Aust, metal valve caps removed, rear boot clips taken. But that was in 2004. I'm sure the wharfies are much different now.......
  7. Masters Automobiles 3 Harker Street, Burwood VIC 3125 9808 0333
  8. Can't custom order from Rays? They came in Mag Blue when I got the car. Was thinking I should have kept it the same colour or gone red. Seeing as they will be used on track only.
  9. Some odd and ends from RHDJapan for some upcoming small projects. Brake Line A Clamps, Sideskirt clips & Nice shiny new replacement door handles. On a separate note, I finally measure the offset of the 17"s that came with the car. +0 Offset TE37's. Figures why they filled out the guards so well for a 9" rim.
  10. You using the 32R pictured? I didn't have the nerve to use the handbrake last time @Deca as I was using my road wheels with road tyres. This time around I'll stop being lazy and change them over.......well maybe. Fun-most people hang it sideways every chance they get, bounce off the rev limiter, turn a spin out into a chance for a burn out etc. Everytime I go to a motorkhana I wish I had a RWD. Fast-the faster ones keep things neat & tight. Tools? Just what you'd normally bring to a track day although, if you discover you need something you didn't bring there'll most likely be someone there who can help out.
  11. For having fun or going fast?
  12. Hope so. I've had this undying need to do 4WD doughies lately, for some reason.
  13. wow. talk about being beaten within an inch of it's life with the ugly stick.
  14. to add some info re. Hychill. I called up Ross from Hychill and he was very helpful in giving me the details for some workshops close to my work (I ended up using Masters Automobiles). Aircon system in my car has been open since it landed in Aust (2004) and hasn't been functional since. Short story. They re-gassed and replaced seals/valves for $205 and it's been working great (touch wood) for 3 weeks now.
  15. A few questions about street use. These are a track orientated coilover however aren't super hard and are fine to use on the street.
  16. Tip for your very bent front license plate : try getting some washers or similar to use as spacers. That way your plate won't look like they were put on by the work experience kid at a car dealer
  17. I know what you mean mate. I went to Rod Laver today at 3.30pm and there was no concert on. Crunts.
  18. Too bad that's too long for custom plates in VIC.
  19. They haven't been used on a road car to do daily K's. The member I bought them off probably only used them for 5-10,000km's before his car went into storage and was eventually parted out. edit : oh and i've done about 5,000KM's on them. (including x1 Deca and x1 Haunted Hills)
  20. damn. Thought i'd out-geeked you.
  21. it went into my SPAM folder on Gmail but I was on the lookout for it.
  22. And the administrator dude who runs it emails you within minutes personally when you accidentally create two accounts.
  23. These were custom re-valved by Gary (Sydneykid) and are out of a winning production car. They are not from the SAU group buy. Have moved to Racepace Tein Circuit Masters. Bought from a member on here. They stand up quite well against the Teins especially considering the big price difference between the two. At this price I believe they are great value for money. Spring rates : 7kg/mm and 5kg/mm. $850 + Freight if required. Melbourne 0425 730 031 (ignore the swaybars on top)
  24. 22 signed up at time of writing. What's wrong with your car?
