  1. Assuming ATTESSA is working fine - Get the transfer case modded by a place that knows what they're doing. Power transfer comes on sooner and harder. Difference is night and day. Best $ mod for handling i've ever done.
  2. I think it's safe to say, this is dead
  3. Call back and talk to someone else. Lol- 13k for a 34R They're not as polished as Shannons that's for sure. The agents don't even have email so you can't send them modifications etc directly. Also they don't list the mods on the paperwork they send. I got their "admin lady" to email me with a statement saying that all my modifications as per my email to them are listed and covered. Then only did I cancel my insurance with Shannons.
  4. Congrats, looks good. Is it me or does it look like you're missing the nismo/N1 bumper inserts from your front bar?
  5. Just signed up through RACV 36 Year old - excellent driving history. R32 GTR on Club permit Owned for 9.5 years now (they asked) Agreed value $30k Previously with Shannons for $1100 per year RACV Veteran, Vintage & Classic - $212 per year Was an easy decision to make. Now to call Shannons and give them the bad news.... edit : oh also all mods are listed. I e-mailed them the two pages worth of info. Also $300 excess!
  6. Looking good. Kicking myself - Had to hop back in the car and leave in a rush at the Daylesford cruise, didn't get a change to take a look at this.
  7. Nice. Hopefully I get a geezer of it.
  8. What did you end up finding, mate?
  9. Yep. Was pretty bad. 3 people died in that crash. Apparently the driver took the car without permission, so I'm not sure what any laws are going to do to prevent that.
  10. If you want response like that, rebuild the standards with steel wheels. -9's are a bigger turbo and they feel like it too. -7's are a bit more responsive once again. They both fall off a bit power gain wise past 20psi.
  11. Dunno if the PS3's are normally this price but I got a set of x4 for our daily in 215 45 17 for $636 ($159ea) fitted just recently.
  12. Don't be like that. It was lowered too.
  13. * About 60% left on them (conservative estimate) *Not abused by someone who has done skids etc - they were on my wifes car (N/A Liberty). Not needed as wheels have been changed on the car and tyres replaced with a new set. * $120 - Grab yourself a bargain * Melbourne, Hawthorn East * Mobile : 0425 730 031
  14. If I could reach through the screen and touch your car inappropriately, I would.
  15. That is a nice clutch but I don't think it'd survive my fondness of hard launches. Jarrod! Definitely considering going to have a bit of a look. The car's good but I don't think it's show material quite yet Beers are defiantly over due mate, we should tee something up.

  17. Amazing how many little things need to get done to these cars now that they're getting on. Take for example the fact that I had a squeeky/grinding clutch pedal. No amount of lubricant could fix it. It ended up needing 6 replacement bushes from Nissan. Total cost $65 + labour to fit. I would really hate to see how shagged one of those GTR's selling for 12-15k would be.
  18. Was booked in for Winton mid October but had to cancel as we're moving house. Everything in life is being upsized currently, as the Mrs and I are expecting our first "mini-me" in a few months. Not much time for the car lately unfortunately. Managed to get it out of storage and drive it to work and back to give it a run for a couple of days. Noticed the interior lights and rear lights are no longer working. Great. After a quick search it looks like there is no fuse and it runs off the headlight switch. So.... New headlight switch. $187! Pretty steep especially when you open one up and see how basic the design is. Thanks Nissan. Wasn't too hard to get to the switch. Steering wheel can stay in place and just the cluster surround and lower panel need to come off. While I was in there, installing the new headlight switch, I found the plug now looks like this. Great. Looks like the worn out headlight switch results in a short which then screws the plug up good. Not replacing the plug only lasted me a another drive until the lights went out again. Thought I had to go scrounge around a whole bunch of N14 Pulars at the wreckers for a replacement plug. Luckily I found a dude wrecking a 32 and bought a black rear bar and nice un-burnt plug. Even came to my work to drop it all off. Nice bloke. All working again. now. Oh did manage to make it to the SAU VIC cruise to Daylesford. She ran well. Met lots of great ppl on the day too. Needs air-con gas stat. Might get a mate who is a mechanic to gas her up. On the plus side our new home has a secure double garage so the car finally live with us. Looks like it'll be a whole lot more convenient to get work done on the car after that
  19. Wow wheel spin central! Nice!
  20. My 32R had a pretty squeaky clutch too. 6 plastic clutch pedal/lever/return spring bushes were replaced - about $50 from memory. Mind you the sound wasn't as bad as yours but it was audible from inside the car.
