  1. 157 is huge! what power is it making now?
  2. well its been done before, doesnt sound laggy to me
  3. Yeah thats my concern, it will be setup street/strip so no 6000rpm 6" converters here lol No Nos either, a) because I'm a firm believer in only using a single "power adder" and b) street car
  4. well if Geoff says its a go, then I'd be oblidged to believe him. What rear housing are you using? split .91? 1JZ's tend to need a bit more boost than RB's to make the same power when using the same turbo....having smaller ports does that.
  5. whats the curve like? needs more 4.44:1 diff ratios
  6. So, according to the moroso calc, 600 flywheel HP and 3800lbs = 10.77 @ 126mph
  7. p.s that wasnt a dig at anyone, just trying to point out ive seen way more stupid things happen at club days over open track days
  8. Im after a mid 10 1/4 in a 3800lb Soarer...so Ill be needing 400+ Rekon a 83-75 will do that on E85? might need 35psi...but Im ok with that lol Edit - Im basing this off Guilt-toys 380rwkw r33 which went 10.8 at 130something, my car is a bit heavier, but is auto, so by my rekoning 380-400 should get me where I want to be. More is always a bonus though lol. Not looking forward to getting the quotes on having the trans done to cope lol
  9. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Electric-Supercharger-Turbo-Power-Intake-System-/260855611816?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cbc34c1a8 There ya go
  10. nothing wrong with speed off the streets days. Last time I went there was 3 other cars, and was doing 30-45mins sessions. Much better than 15min sessions with 20 other cars on track Seems a bit better than having a session stopped because somebody was being a dick and rolled their 808.....
  11. Mmmm. I could run a 1mm gap with standard 15 year old coils and a shit homemade coil wiring loom and 20psi. Really does summise for me that OEM coils are the only decent bolt in option, and can be had for similar $$ to Splitfires these days
  12. .7mm gap is pretty poor form from aftermarket coils imo 350kws or not
  13. Yeah it looks the good, my only concern is the cut back turbine wheel compared to the 83-75, will have to try and find back to back results to see whether the extra power will overrule the extra lag lol.
  14. depends on whether the car misses running a 1.1mm gap, if you can runn the bigger gap than do it, either way you can always re-gap the plugs. eg i run a .9mm gap on my Soarer
  15. BCPR6E = .8mm gap or if you want the 1.1mm gap BCPR6E-11
  16. If you concerned about it then yes, just make sure it doesnt block the flow
  17. whats the internal volume of the twin scroll .84 hosuing comapred to the single entry .82? in cc's or cm^2
  18. Never seen an intercooler corrode to the point it was unuseable....Just keep it clean
  19. Twin Scroll = Larger turbine housing a/r needed, as the effective volume inside is reduced by the divider. so instead of a .82 GT30 housings you would use a 1.06 in twin-scroll form
  20. definatley needs a leak down test done. Is the oil milky?
  21. happened in my Snoarer a few months back, took the shroud with it
  22. http://www.full-race.com/store/turbos/borgwarner-airwerks/borgwarner-s200sx-8070-turbo.html this looks interesting
  23. that sounds mint Dave! Any work done on the ports? or just the baby cams? might have to start looking at the 88-75 instead of the 83-75
