  1. NO thats why you have a fuel filter, which filters down to like 10 microns. you will have more dust and shit get through your airfilter when driving around town then letting your tank get low. Besides, the fuel pick up is at the lowest point of the tank....where all the crap sits, so full tank or empty tank, the pump is still picking up from the same point.
  2. Stick with known brands. (think $2k+) All these stories you hear about how good (insert cheap china brand here) are by people who havent used a good brand/type of shock/spring combo

    Rego

under the doors owen, the part that runs from the rear of teh front guards to the front of the rear wheel arch. Niss being nissan made then piss weak so when even a jack get used they crush/dent
  4. $5k gtst = brain annurism when you get it home and find you have to replace everything on the thing
  5. Cheers mate Makes sense
  6. I would stay away from modified ones, straying to far into the unknown using modified 20G covers for the 25G wheel
  7. Good to see it went well. now lesson #2 - Why 1JZ > RB25
  8. Thats what has to be weighed up, TD06 + ext gate and fabrication may cost more than an Internal gate GT3076 + dump My case is different due to 1JZ needing a new manifold no matter what
  9. yes, but hazzard a guess I would say 280-290rwks max on 98. would have awesome snappy power on a 25 though
  10. depends on the Fuel. Stock manifold is good for around 320rwks, which is roughly what a T67 will give on PULP98
  11. Scott, Do you know the difference between a TD06-20G and a TE06-20G? I assume the TE06 is more low performance Diesel type stuff, but would be interested in the differences.
  12. The "non" L2 version might be able to flow a little more through the turbine, but as per Roys quote above there is SFA difference, the issue with the T67 not fitting isnt the sheer size of them, but rather the much smaller turbine housing, a spacer plate could be made to suit, as the Comp cover is around GT3582 size, which does fit low mounted to a Rb25. I would show you pics but some flamin mongrel stole my TD07 last year
  13. Also, my thread on the differences between TD06's http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/339433-lets-talk-td-06s/page__hl__td06
  14. Joel Send your thanks to Roy
  15. Oh and then there is the TD07S-25G Which is the same 25G comp as the T67-25G and TD06-25G, but has an even bigger turbine
  16. TD06-25G is the big brother of the T67-25G has the same comp cover and wheel with a bigger turbine TD06-20G is smaller than a t67-25G by using the 20G comp wheel then there is the TD06-20GL2 Which has the 20G comp and the same small turbine of the T67-25G Hope you havent had too many beers when trying to work that out hahha
  17. Subliminal message to those with more money than me. Build a Tarmac Boss Mustang dream boats
  18. It's funny chasing economy. Leaner than 17:1 on my car needed too much throttle so went back to 16:1 and played with timing until I had the smallest thottle % needed to maintain 110km/h. Worked well for me
  19. Will probably have boost creep issues. Like the kkr turbos which have the same style rear housing. You can buy all the parts separately from kando. And could be made to fit a gt30 turbine housing or even an op6 if you wanted to go that way. Another way would be to weld a gate on the bottom of an external gate housing and try and hide it. Please forgive the lack of spaces etc I'm using my iphail atm
  20. Its old school
  21. You have only ever seen modern Garrett turbos havent you...
  22. Isnt the SS1 only rated to 350hp or so. So its smaller than a GT-RS which makes a best of around 260krws you are making 230awks with a smaller turbo So thinking about that ....WTF are you whinging about? Seems like the turbo is giving all it can give and thats why its dropping off
  23. Performance Springs is the brand believe it or not, They are an Aussie mob, and supposedly pretty good, but I have never used them myself
  24. hmmm not sure, I would call supertech and ask, if not there are a few other brands of springs around that money as well.
