I think its weird that its not more commonly known (the chamber volumes) I guess it comes down to not many people touching the heads on RBs and simply throw a bigger turbo and more boost at it to make power. This also relates to CP/Weisco etc labling the comp ratios for pistons straight out of the box.

can be done, but much better idea is to get some Garrett 2860-9's straight bolt on factory replacement and will be morjust as responsiveas the rebuilt/hi flowed standard turbos. There was a mob on ebay selling direct replacement steel wheels for GTR turbos, but I never heard of any good results with them. A rebuild on the standard turbos will be similar money to the -9's anyway, which are good for around 320rwks on pump 98 any way I hope I havent confused you

Cam timing makes sense, Either way a timing light should be brought out on the first start no matter what. even if the exhaust cam is out, the bas ign timing should easily be brought back to spec, its a 10 sec job on an RB
