Thanks fellas for trying to make me feel better. I'm over the shock now. Just want it back on the road so I can get rid of it. It was strange how they didn't break the clublock. It was intact when I looked at it. Alarm wasn't screaming when I saw it though they security guard did say they heard it. They looked but nothing looked wrong on the outside so they thought it was a faulty alarm. The b@stard/s didn't do much damage on the outside. They popped the door handle cleanly. The mess was the ignition.

My dad installed a Mongose alarm/immoboliser system. Don't know what model though. I also had the clublock on. Actually, they did take something. Went back and checked and looks like they took my Oakley sunnies. But yeah, I kinda figured they were disturbed. I'm not going to go into the whole "If i find out who did it" business. I'm a believer in karma. I'm rather it was an amature that did this than a pro cause the car would've disappeared for good!

Thanks to some low life scum who decided to break into my car and did a half ass "attempt" to steal my ride. First they busted my door so now I have to get in via the passanger side. Then they "tried" to start it up, but in the process busted the ignition barrel. And all for what? NOTHING! They took absolutely NOTHING! They noticed the Apexi RSM and PFC handset because they opened the glovebox and left it on the passanger seat, but still took..... NOTHING! Not even the coins or the stereo!!!! :confused: So now my car is at my uncles getting the the barrel ignition and door lock fixed. Chances are that it won't be dont till next week.

Don't take this the wrong way but perhaps you should buy your next car without your folks help. That way you treat it like king. I know I treat mine like king. It's easy to take things for granted when it's given to you. And the next time you get the urge to do something silly, you will remember this incident and also that it's your money it's going to be paying for the damages. Think about the possabilites and the consequences before you act. This is what's lacking in younger drivers. Last thing you want is to take out some innocent by stander or passanger. You don't want to live with that on your mind for the rest of your life. Think about how your death will affect the people around you. I don't mean in here since it seems that there are people who are upset at you, but more so your folks. You don't want to see them morn over your death now? PS. A blast around the track is ten times more fun than anywhere on the road. Period!

Have you driven other GTR's? Reason I'm asking is that before I got my car dynoed at 2 places and I got 2 very funny readings. Apparently I get more power at 4 wheels than 2 wheels???? Personally I don't live off dyno figures, the dyno is just a tuning tool. You running bigger rims BTW? Mods? This also affects dyno figures.

All R32's, left head light goes kaput for some reason. Just tap it and it comes back.

Achieved nothing. Plan and lifestyle have changed. Bought appartment and that sucked all $ I had. 2004, not much involvement in cars. Perhaps 2005. It's time to take that big dive. The "M" word.

I like the idea of steal and it's your hands gone. Because living without your hands is worse than death!

Stock for stock, it's hard to say which is better, quicker, etc... The philosophy behind both cars are different. The EVO cars have rally DNA while the GTR has Group A DNA. One thing is for sure though. Out of the box, the EVO is quick. Looks, it's in the eye of the beholder, or BEER holder!
