Bad news. Just got a reply from GP travel and there are only 3 Hotels that are offering packages at this time. The cheapest one is Hotel Ibis and they want $882 pp triple share. It's about 4 km from circuit but it's close by the casino.

Ok, it's Brabham Stand and I've picked out the hotels closest to the CBD and the circuit. That way we can move around without too much hassels of cabs and trams. They are: Oakford on Collins - $876 triple, $805 quad Punt Hill Flinders Lane - $918 triple, $837 quad Pacific Int. Southbank - $1038 triple, $927 quad Let us know which one you would prefer. Also depending on the number of people wanting to share accomodation, will decide on price because it varies if it's quad or triple share. Hopefully we can get 8 people so split it up to 2 appartments. B-Man, it's $579 for just the Brabham stand.

Welcome, 1 & 2. First thing is first. You should decide on what you want. Auto or manual. Buying an auto then converting to a manual wastes time and money. Save yourself the grief. It can be done and has been done, but it's just something you can do without. 3. Service is every 5000k as opposed to 10000k for NA. Also using high quality oils on them is recommended. 4. Don't be shocked when you see the fuel economy. Turbo cars do drink more juice than NA cars. I don't think there's that much difference between a 32 and 33 in terms of fuel economy. Just pick which one you like and can afford. 5. R32 insurance may be cheaper cause it's a cheaper car. Not sure. Call to get a few quotes and work from there.

Probably for 2 reasons he won't get a drive with Jordan. 1. Next year Jordan may be getting Mercedes engines. Alexander Wurz is a good recruitment cause he KNOWS mercedes engines and also has the mclarens know-how. Very valuable knowledge to be gained from him if they do get mercedes engines. 2. Jordan get extra sponsorship $ from Benson & Hedges for having an english driver. Leaves JV sh*t out of luck.
