  1. Wish it had the Mazda 787 quad rotor. Still kick a$$ site though.
  2. on myself (no, not p***s enlargement ). driver training.
  3. I like mine airbrushed with the purple teletubbie please! Andrew, Nungen has a second hand rocker cover for R32/33 that's like the red on the R34. Only it's got the R32/33 badge not the R34. http://www.nengun.siteblast.com/gallery.as...ge=2&shopperid=
  4. Check your mail Christian.
  5. I just went though the work intranet and there's a few graduate jobs (code for: we will pay you j@ck shit).
  6. no beer, no tv, make homer go crazy. Now hug your tele and take back all the bad words you've ever said to it.
  7. It won't beat skylines with power figures, but I can asure you it'll beat skylines with the fuel economy figure. Now start trembling.
  8. It's still for sale. I'm in Casula. The car at the moment is getting all pampered with a total clean out interior and engine bay. Gasket leak is also fixed.
  9. It also depends on what circuit you are on. I find at a small and tight circuit (like wakefield) it's not so hard on brakes where a higher speed circuit (eastern creek) it's very demanding on brakes. I had a set of Green stuff and lasted one session at EC. Racebrakes RB74 are a good pad as it's not as noisy as the comp 9's and last a few days at EC with driving in between. Comp 9's have very good bite but are very harsh on rotors.
  10. Depending on date and if the gtr hasn't been sold yet, I'll be there.
  11. It's not me, it's just the wind! you know how melbourne weather is like, windy!
  12. How about an auto echo? j/k Can't mate. Girlfriend will give me a KIA for getting her beloved car on the track. I'm even banned from hand brakes!
  13. Went to a Renault dealer yesterday (after alonso took his maiden win!) and asked about the clio V6. Good news is that upper managerment is thinking about bringing it out here. Bad news is that it's that much of a weapon that insurance will be prohibitive for under 25 drivers, and even worse if a 60k+ price tag. Maybe out here early next year to mid next year if it is given the go ahead.
  14. G'day and welcome, You'll have to be a member for SAU's Team Trackday. A bunch of clowns who love their track days/racing. With your knowledge I'm sure you'll bring a wealth of experience to the gang. Not sure how much a mint one is worth but I've seen some R33's float around the $40k mark but aren't that mint.
  15. mmmm... m3 cls I read the artical on the gamballa the other day. Gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.
  16. Mclarens just announced that all drivers will remain for 04. Hope DC proves me wrong (PLEASE!!). Rubens will stay so no change for Ferrari. Montoya has reportedly signed a not so "secret" deal with Mclarens for 05. I think this rumour will be hotly debated. JV is struggling to stick around. Someone from BAR may have to make way for Sato and JV's head is looking good. Renault are also keeping JT and FA. Good combination there. Massa and Fisi maybe at Sauber next year. Either way I think one of these will one day be asked to fill in the big shoes of schuey when he hangs up his helmet. Just reading F1 mag and it's very interesting the telemetry of Schuey and Rubens. Schuey like to use left foot braking while Rubens doesn't. At Silverstone, from the corner Copse to Becketts, Schuey is 20km/h (0.15sec) faster out of Copse and when exiting Becketts, has a 25km/h (0.2 sec) lean on Rubens.
  17. I think neil will have something to say about the new mini's since he works with them. Renault Clio(spelling???) has a rep for a very well balanced car. Handling rivals the early integra type R! That's hard to beat.
  18. Bloody car hoons! I'm getting an excel cause I want to get from home to my bingo nights.
  19. I'm down for an apartment. Just hope people can forgive me for my behaviour when I've sucked too much of grandpa's medicine. But then again, missus will be there next year so I have to be on my best behaviour.
  20. I'll be driving down again but I may go down early in the week to visit some friends. Probably Tuesday or Wednesday. View map of the circuit and then pick which one you want Map Duncan, turn 1 stands are expensive (Jones and Brabham). I'll wait and in the next few weeks which ever stand has the most nominations will get the nod. I'm pretty much flexable on which ever stand but don't want to force everyone to fork out too much money.
  21. provided you got king kong balls.
  22. They had to order the plate in but the cooler was there.
  23. Yep, in auburn. I think the plates alone were about 70 bucks. Can't remember if that was for both or each. Then the lines were extra. Don't think lines would be very much if it were just for a remote oil filter as you don't require the filter to be relocated far from the original location.
  24. Ah the good old days of racing. The year of the arseholes, senna and prost were banging wheels, Mansel was king..... *sheads tear* When racing was racing, not money is racing.
  25. WHAT! I don't recall drinking???
