  1. RSM still for sale? R u busy next Saturday? Do a cash sale.
  2. The dealer blew pistions 2 and 3 on my baby. Scored the block and stuffed one turbo. Total rebuild and I didn't pay a cent, but lost heaps of time.
  3. Does anyone know how to undo the belt from the crank to the power steering? The car is a 93 GTR. Thanks
  4. I know what it's like. Wish my car had guns like James Bond's.
  5. Hardly anyone turned up in the morning. Good but cause get more track time to ourselves. Only got held up in the second session by some Commo's. Afternoon more people, but still got some very good runs. Gotta do something about the engine temperature though. This is my last outting with the arrowz for a while now. Gotta get a proper intercooler and a Power FC.
  6. Another who saw the light? WRX to GTR. The hardest thing I found was adjusting to the GTR's 4WD characteristics. And what really wowed me is how communicative the chassis is to the WRX. Have fun with it hey.
  7. I thought that iridium were replacing platinums.
  8. Looks like 3 at the moment, with one half dayer.
  9. I think that you should've went for a brake pad with a lower resistance co-efficent. Ie, Ultimate up front, metal king at the rear.
  10. Looks like I'll be doing the calling to Motoconcepts for spots. I need certain numbers people. Doesn't look like a lot this time. What's wrong? This the last drive day until 19th of December people...
  11. Any other positions available?
  12. I think for now, lets hope the yanks don't go bombing Iraq. As soon as the word "war" is meantioned, prices of oil and gold go through the roof.
  13. Top end tyres have very soft compound. That's why they grip. However, they also wear out very quickly if you do burnouts and power slides as they were designed NOT to let cars get into these situations. If you want to smoke it up at the lights and slide around, hard compound tyres are the better option as they don't wear out as quickly as soft compound and also are cheaper.
  14. I think it's the road that goes through Stanwall Park. So if your coming from Sydney, you can go through the National Park but you have to get onto the Freeway once you get to the end of the National Park.
  15. Go out on Wakefield first as it's an easier and more user friendly track. Then come out to EC and one of the regular guys can show you around. If you are confident, then you can get out. When you are new to any track, don't go out there with an attitude of "I have to be faster than this guy". That'll put you in a dangerous situation.
  16. I've always liked MR2's. Nice shape and timeless styling. Something like the Z3, in ten years time we'll cringe when we look back at it.
  17. Silver kick ass!!!
  18. It's $115 for a half day, $145 for a full day. But the regular guys can get a special group discount for us.
  19. Anyone up for this? Full day from 9 till 5.
  20. If you want to do some track work, go the R. That's where you'll really notice the difference. But if for the road, go the 34 cause more comfortable ride and easier to maintain.
  21. Happy Birthday dude. Have a good one.
  22. Top day once again. Disappointed that I missed one session to change my brake pads but still. Would like to see the group photo at the end of the day.
  23. What's the difference? Same thing or what? Your not supposed to mix normal stuff with silicone based fluids so how do you go about changing it?
  24. Let's face it. Channels 7, 9 and 10 are biased. Daily Telgraph is also biased. If you want to watch a "story", they're a good pick. If you want facts, ABC or SBS.
